"Hi welcome to the Pokecenter how may I assist you today?" The pink haired healer spoke with a smile on her face. No way in hell was I leaving my pokemon here, not ever again.
"I would," Blue handed his six pokeballs to Nurse Joy who smiled politely. "Thanks."
"Anytime. Chancey if you would." The pink pokemon dashed off with a smile on her face, Joy following right behind her.
"I wanna leave this place is boringggg!" Tiny dragged on, showing her exhausted for this place. Whose to say I don't blame her, being here isn't exactly what one would consider fun. I sighed and placed the victory pokemon on my head, and bribed it to stay quiet with another berry, which Tiny did without fail.
"Hey Lyla, what do you want to do after this?" Yellow asked with her cheeky little smile. I cocked my head to the side, disrupting Tiny slightly, but went back to eating nonetheless. "What do I want to do?"
She nodded her head, confirming that I had heard her correctly the first time around. "I have no preference, but I would like it to be something more in private."
"Okie dokie, I'll let Whitey know." She beamed and skipped over to the black haired trainer. I sighed and subconsciously bit my finger nail. Now that Plasma knows of my return, I'm sure they won't stop to find me. Better to stay low, and keep the risk of them finding me at a minimum. Plus lowers the chances of putting the others in danger.
I was snapped out of my thoughts as Red threw his arm around my shoulder. He was a good sixish inches taller than me, so I was his arm rest. How convenient for him.
"Whats up?" I asked, ending the silence that was once present between us. "Nothing your just either nervous or upset again."
I didn't answer, but I did drop my hands down to my side. I rolled my eyes, trying to brush off my weary conscious, which seemed to please Red.
He kept his arm around my shoulder, which I didn't mind, as we waited for the others to finish what they came here to do.
Where are we going next? I thought to myself, looking at nothing in particular. I sighed as I noticed the others walking towards us.
"So this is goodbye for now," Blue smiled, tossing a pokeball lightly in his hand. "Bye bye Bluey!"
I took the victory pokemon off my head and held her close to my chest. "Tiny says bye."
"Bye to you Tiny." Blue expressed with a small smile, Tiny waved and offered the last bite of her pecha berry with a smile. Blue declined the berry with a small wave.
"How are you getting back?" Alyssa asked with a hint of curiosity lacing her voice.
"Flying, duh." Blue flipped the pokeball in the air once more, showing off the pokemon who he was soon to be mounting. "I did have to take Pidgeot out of the PC though."
As we walked out of the center, I noticed someone staring at me. The golden eyes took me for a loop, I started breathing heavily. I tried to unravel myself from Red's grip however he held strong. I bit my lip and avoided eye contact with him.
"What's wrong?" He whispered, only for me to hear. The others were too caught up with goodbyes to notice my panicked state.
"I need to leave." I frantically spoke, my words quick and unable to comprehend easily. However my face was all Red needed to nod slowly. My eyes darted around landing back on the golden orbs that were staring me down from afar. His blonde hair seemed to be hidden by the hoodie he wore.
Red tapped Alyssa on the shoulder, then pointed to me. He said something but I was too caught up in my train of thought to even hear him. Alyssa flashed a quick face of concern before nodding and waving her hands.
"Lets go princess." He wrapped his arm around my waist and walked down the streets, my besides him. I was quick paced, looking around constantly.
We made it back to the house to which I ran inside without looking back. "Ly!"
I turned around sharply, knocking right into Red's chest. Before I could retaliate he wrapped his arms around me. "What the hell happened out there?"
"I saw him again." I uttered barley above a whisper. I collapsed to my knees, landing on the ground with a thud.
"Who's he?" Red soothed lowering himself to my level until he too sat on the ground. "Lucas."
"Your cousin?" He asked, I nodded to confirm the situation. "He was standing outside the center with a hoodie and jeans, his eyes were the giveaway."
"You sure you aren't paranoid?" He prodded more into the question to which I raised a brow. "Are you calling me a liar?"
"Of course not Ly, I'm just worried about your mental health." I scoffed at his answer, did he think I was crazy now? Maybe returning to civilization was a bad idea I was fine in pinwheel forest. "So now you're calling me crazy."
"Calm down Layla, you're acting irrationally." Red attempted to soothe, was he turning against me too? "You've gone through a lot as of the recent, I just want to make sure you're okay."
"Can't you see I'm fine!" I sobbed, tears rolling down my one lone eye. The glass one was normal, no signs of irritation were present.
"Ly, you're not fine, I've never seen you cry before." He spoke softly, his hands running through my blonde hair. I stayed silent, not moving, just sitting comfortably in his grasp.
