Looking up I stared into the full length mirror and turned this wayand that. I was all dressed up as a bride ready to walk down theaisle to the one I chose. The life I chose. I had turned twenty eightand so much had changed since I walked away from the engagement I hadrushed into at twenty five.

I think it could have worked if they had told me the truth from thestart. I could have gotten past it and married them when they plannedit but I couldn't when they tried to hide it. So I walked out of theroom and could hear their muffled cries and knew they were doingtheir best to hide it from me, they probably thought I was gonealready. I hated making them cry because I knew they really did carefor me. But-

"Name? Are you ready?" I turned to see Lawrence dressed up in hisHead Guard uniform having gotten permission to attend my wedding andwalk me down the aisle. It was hard to choose between him and my dadbut in the end I couldn't refuse the way he was as an older brother. In a lot of ways more an older brother then my birth brother and Istill didn't trust my family. Despite the almost three years I onlyever talked to them with letters. I would have to visit themsometime, preferably with my spouse, I didn't want to break myfamilies hearts but I don't think I can ever bridge the space betweenus since that incident of sending me to a mental hospital, even ifthey explained why they did it and even though I and my brain canunderstand it my heart can not.

"Yes. I'm so nervous." I used my hand to fan my face grabbing mybouquet of roses, baby's breath, and lilies with my other hand.

"Cold feet?" He asked and knowing of the past he would happilyhelp me get away if I needed to.

"No. I want this, it's just kind of nervous." I give him a smileas he offers me his arm. When we turn the corner looking to them.

Lily and Jason.

They stand at the end of the aisle with Jason and Lily dressed as abride and groom and I slowly made it to them with Jason leading me.When I got to them Jason and Lily held their hands out together andLawrence took my hand that was holding his arm and placed it intheirs.

"You two better take care of her." Lawrence said. Or threatened. One or the other, or more likely both. They gave him a smile andnodded.

"We will. We swear to it." They both said at the same timepulling me to them.

When I left the room and Lawrence had told me what he did allowing meto remember being (Emma/Sofia) I had asked him to get Mary-Ann forme, and to bring the three of us dinner if she didn't mind. We had alot of talking to do.

Lawrence had been surprised but had smiled at me and patted my headbefore going to get her. When I had come back Lily and Jason werecrying their eyes out clinging to each other. I had explained to themthat I would give them one chance but if they lied to me or withholdanything, even something as simple as what they had for breakfast, Iwas out.

They clung to me but did do that and I found out so many otherthings. Like how they had known my name when I first came here wasthat Mary-Ann had the ability to see into the future, thorugh herthey watched me grow up and had stepped in once or twice when I wasin danger making sure the way to my favorite park as a child where Iwould have been hit by a car and other ways once or twice.

They explained what they were feeling through every choice I or theymade, the good, the bad and the ugly and that if it meant they couldhave me still they'd go through it a thousand times more. So afteralmost three years of knowing each other we were finally marrying. Iwas ready, I trusted them and we were finally all on the same page.

We were ready to marry.

That was a hardchapter to write but I hope you guys liked it and it didn't give itaway too much. I will be writing a epilogue but this story is prettymuch done.
