The Start of It All
Stars glimmered brightly, each one standing out from the rest when every second passed. Night was peaceful before a big day, a big day not one would expect and mistaken for as something else. There, a beautiful hut was in the middle of springs and rivers underneath a recently installed bridge by a soon-to-be married couple. One of which, is Atasei Choi
Atasei Choi glared at the mirror, overthinking too much about tomorrow. She was getting married to the man she loved. Her fiancé laid his chin on her left shoulder and his mouth opened saying, "You look beautiful," he pinched the extra skin on her thighs with a disgusted look, "I mean... Just remove this." Atasei nodded and weakly smiled, pretending as if everything was okay. "Well, I'm going to rest now." He walked off and paused at the door. "Oh yeah, and Atasei?"
Atasei grabbed her immediate attention to her fiancé and raised her eyebrows. Her fiancé, Seiji Saiko tossed her a bright and shiny golden ring with a 22-Carat diamond mounted on top. Atasei did not understand a single word her future mother-in-law just stated but she wanted to leave a good impression and decided to flow along. "I sure am lucky. And I'm REALLY happy!"
Wrong. Atasei lied in those two last sentences she said. Sure, she was insanely rich, successful, and kind but the only things missing were a few friends, freedom, and the sense of being loved. The opposite of luck. The young woman also lost her mother from a car accident at the age of sixteen and since then she had her father to care for her that left town as soon as she was eighteen.Skipping to the confirmation--
The priest asked, "And Atasei," Atasei glanced at the officiant as her face sparkled when the shining sun landed on her face. Her highlights sparkled in every one movement. She was beautiful. But Seiji didn't see anything at all and only looked at her when she turned away from the sun. "Do you take Seiji as your lawfully wedded husband?" The priest questioned. With the sight of Seiji's alluring, handsome face, it was like she was forced to say yes. "I d-"
