Naoharu led themselves to an insanely large campus not too far from Master's Pawn Shop with quick transportation from a train. "It's so big! It looks unreal!" Naoharu chuckled, "That's what I thought when Miss Likaera brought me here." The boy sighed and waved at the camera at the corner of the gate, right at the hedge.
The megaphone out of nowhere tuned and strained until it was the right volume. "Welcome back, Prince Haru! You look as handsome as ever." A female voice that sounded about mid-forties behind the speaker spoke. "Don't make me blush, Mama Hattori. There's a new student about my age. She needs some help as a newcomer," Naoharu snatched the hanger along with the uniform from Atasei and resumed, "She beholds the uniform already, and all she requests for are the white shoes, socks, and gym strip. ---Also the books."
The woman spoke, "Well, alright. And what selection of books? Telepathy? Speed? Stamina?"
Naoharu gestured at Atasei, waiting for a reply, "I... Need all of them...?" She stammered, placing both her hands in the back of her torso in utter apprehension.
"Who determined your ability?" Hattori asked. Atasei opened her mouth, "Master Shuu?"
The two teens heard a sigh from the megaphone, it sounded quite like a disappointed one. "That old man. Is he losing his min--" Before the woman could say the 'd', she figured. "Perhaps, you must be Diverse. If the queen has not been able to determine your ability, it must be varied," The white-stained gate opened. "Naoharu, go along with your classes. I'll take her with me."2/2
Madame Hattori appeared out of nowhere, she wasn't using any superpowers but she was just hard to focus on. Until you meet her--- She had beautiful long, slick platinum blond hair. Eyelashes curlier than a waterslide, lips redder than fresh blood. Skin pale but adjusted into the right tone of pale. You get the picture. For a woman her age, she was pulling it off. Atasei was admiring what she was seeing right in front of her.
"Come with me, Beauty." Hattori clung her arms to Atasei's like a metal chain and scurried over to the entrance of the academy in her 4-inch heels while Atasei tagged along with the woman as if she was being dragged.
Hattori hurried to a large room, a room with no students but a lot of supplies a tailor would have.Hattori pressed Atasei down on a leather couch with an open wound of its own cotton guts spilling out of the waist. The lady then clanked her heels away into another room and came back out later on with a stack of polyester clothes and two shoes. One seemed to be a pair of white sneakers and the other pair was plain white school shoes.
The stacks were black shorts and a white T-Shirt. It must be her gym-strip. "You are so lucky to have Naoharu on your side," Hattori clasped Atasei's forearm to rise her back up. "Usually, I charge students like Naoharu over 5,000 yen if they ask for these things." The woman tied a measuring rope around Atasei's waist. "But he's a good kid. I still don't get why that handsome kid doesn't have a girlfriend yet. He never had one, actually."The woman mouthed the numbers she counted on Atasei's waist. Her counting was quick and precise. "Maybe because he's loud-mouthed?" Atasei blurted. The woman glared up at Atasei, her eyeballs higher than her red glasses. "These people never see the good he's done, huh?" She tightened the rope. It didn't quite hurt Atasei, but it sure did make her feel something. "It's always that people see the negativity more than positive." She took the rope down and rolled it back. Hattori grabbed five books, "And for that, I'm not charging you for the clothes but I'm charging you for the books."
Atasei's heart pounded. Her face frowning, her sweaty, quivering hand taking the books. "H-how much?" She nervously asked, her voice wobbling.
"5,000 yen."
Hattori thrust forcing Atasei out the door. Hattori slammed the door shut louder than Naoharu's loudest shout. It even made the floor vibrate, like an earthquake was about to occur. Behind the door, her voice was muffled but it was enough to hear. "Just go find a random ability class, Divgus." Divgus was a nickname given to Diverse students that were commonly hated and were Diverse students that failed to maintain their social life.
"Let's see if you need Naoharu."
