Space flickered black and the atmosphere had rained ashes and black seemed to spread across the walls, ceiling, and floors catching up to Atasei's body that stood still but sweat furiously through her fingers panicking in the moment.
Was this supposed to happen?
She didn't seem as panicked as she was supposed to be, considering that this never happened to her and this didn't seem humane at all.
As the floor turned pitch black and landed under Atasei's feet, she fell in limbo to a place of no other colours other than the shade of pitch black. Her bouquet of roses slowly wilted away, as if she was watching life vanish in the moment. This limbo seemed to make her feel like no other living forces were allowed there except her.Atasei looked up to see the closing space of the church where she accidentally left her life behind. And looked down instead where another hole opened to a nighttime era. Before she knew it, her beautiful white dress had turned into a comfortable black and white top. She looked down to her legs and she wore her knee-lenth jean shorts. The only time she knew when she wore this was when she was sixteen. Her descending body caught up to the hole and fell back into life on her bum.
The sky was a beautiful midnight blue and she looked around her new setting. She'd heard garbage trucks, beeps, people chatting. And she knew she was in an alley in a large and crowded city. An insiginificant boy approached closer to her on the shadows and revealed himself.
