*at Grogar's lair*

Cozy: *admits to Grogar* I am so sorry, but the name 'Grofar'? It just doesn't ring any bells.

Grogar: *shouts at her* Grogar! *glares at Comfy and Cozy* I have been away too long if my name no longer strikes fear into the heart of one so tiny. Perhaps a demonstration of power is in order? *taps his collar and produces two balls of magic and gives them to Tirek and Tirana which transforms them into their second forms*

Tirek: [kisses his muscles] *explains* Grogar is ancient and extremely powerful. The land that would become Equestria was a mere collection of farms and pastures until he declared himself emperor of all he saw.

Tirana- *admits* We remember hearing tales of his tyranny when we were young.

Sombra: *looks at Grogar* We have also heard of the first Emperor of Equestria.

Oscura- *snide* The "Father of Monsters".

Grogar: *explains* I gave life to the foulest of creatures and allowed them to run wild, taking what they wanted and destroying the rest. My reign was a glorious, fear-soaked epoch of darkness in Equestria.

Chrysalis: *smirks* Ha! Until Gusty the Great rose up and banished you.

Grogar: *glares at her* That fool believed taking my bell would defeat me! But she only weakened me temporarily.

Comfy: Um, Tirek and Tirana are really old – [to Tirek and Tirana] no offense, you two look great – [to Grogar] but if they knew about you when they were young, we have super different ideas about what "temporarily" means.

Grogar: *shouts at him* Silence! I've spent millenia gathering power, biding my time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to seize control of Equestria! *glares* And watching all of you. I've seen each of your humiliating defeats at the hooves of twelve puny ponies. And do you know why they've always bested you?

Chrysalis/Metamorphosis: *glares* Because they cheat!

Tirek/Tirana: *glares* Because they are annoyingly lucky.

Sombra/Oscura- *admits* It was their dragons that beat us...

Cozy/Comfy: *shrugs* We're just kids, so...

Grogar: *serious* It is because they work together. They use their abilities and powers together. Where one is weak, another is strong, and thus unified, they are a formidable force! But we shall use their own strategy to defeat them.

Metamorphosis: *serious* What are you suggesting?

Grogar: *glares* I suggest nothing. I demand that you join me, and together, Equestria will be ours!

Sombra: *glares at Grogar* No. We don't need anypony else to take back our kingdom. 

Oscura- *glares at Grogar* Your offer holds no interest to us. We will not share the spoils of our efforts.

Sombra- *serious* We will take back the Crystal Empire on our own and destroy anypony who gets in our way.

Grogar: *to them* Such confidence. Go! Try to take back your kingdom. I shall send you two there myself. If you prevail, you may keep it. *darkly* But when you two fail, you will submit to me!

Sombra/Oscura: *curious* And if we refuse this deal?

Grogar: *serious* Then I shall return you two to the darkness from which you two were summoned.

Sombra/Oscura: *agrees* Fine! But this is a waste of time, as we've seen our mistake and are going to permenantly correct it. We will-!

[Grogar sends them off in annoyance]

Grogar: *serious as he walks away* I advise the rest of you to prepare to work together! Sombra and Oscura will be back sooner than you think.

*Tirek, Tirana, Chrysalis, and Metamorphosis give each other glances*

Cozy/Comfy: *admits* Well, working together sounds an awful lot like making friends, so... you four are in luck, because we know all about that! *sits on Tirek and Tirana shoulder's*

Chrysalis/Metamorphosis- *growls angrily at the two*

[Tirek and Tirana flick them off of their shoulders]
