"So I was thinking maybe we Can go to the dance together?"
"Um a bit straight forward I like it but let's try a different approach to it" Ruby told Jamal
"What are you guys doing?" Monse said as her and Cesar walked in
"Jamal is trying to ask.."
"Hey man that's personal"
"Y/n. I think we all know you have a crush on her" Monse rolled her eyes and sat down
"Just ask her man what's the worst that can happen"
"She can say No"
"I doubt she's going to say no Jamal ask her" Monse told him. Ruby and Cesar nodded in agreement. As they heard a knock on Ruby's door.
"Y/n! What are you doing here?"
"You guys invited me"
"Oh yeah yeah I totally forgot" Ruby said inviting her in.
"Y/n Hey!" Jamal said as he dragged Ruby away
"What the hell is she doing here?"
"We've known her since 3 grade. She's been coming over to the house since then. This is no surprise Jamal" he said and moved back to the living room
"So Y/n are you going to the Dance" Monse asked
"I don't know yet I don't think so actually"
"Why not we always go to the dance" Cesar said trying to get Y/n at least think about going to the dance.
"yeah it's our first high school dance together I think it's only fair if we all go"
"fine I'll think about"
"Darn me and Cesar have something to do.. we'll see you later" Monse said dragging Cesar outside.
"Darn? Since when does she use Darn"
"She's trying this new thing where she doesn't say any bad words" Ruby said as he got up and started to walk away.
"What's up with them" y/n asked Jamal. who was already stuffing his month with chips
"I don't know what your talking about" He looked nervous and looked the other direction
"So this dance thing is pretty Stupid isn't it"
"I don't know.. I was actually going to ask someone if he wanted to come with me but I'm not sure anymore"
"You were?" He said almost choking on his chips
"Yeah but I don't think I am anymore"
"Who was it?" Jamal said trying not to choke again

"What?!" Ruby said coming out of his room and Monse and Cesar coming back inside
"I knew you guys were listening" Y/n said trying not to laugh

"Damn you guys are really that chismosos" Y/n said as she laughed
"Actually Y/n if I mean you want to go to the dance we could...You know, go together if you want?"
"Wait...are you actually asking me or this another joke" Jamal shook his head and the rest of the guys stood in shook

"Wow Jamal you actually pulled it off" Ruby said going over to him and Patting him on the back
