Chapter 18:Happily Ever After?

Author's POV

After Alexis was saved, the ambulance took her to the hospital. However, she refused all treatments and insisted on getting to the wedding. The doctors couldn't do anything as they didn't want to piss off a very rich man's dear daughter. So instead, they have the impatient heiress a car. An ambulance to be exact. Which is actually the best way to speed somewhere without getting a ticket.

As Alexis was driving, she realized that someone was tailing her. She assumed it was one of Ae Ra's evil henchmen. "Ugh. Really!?" She knew that Woo Bin's wedding to Ae Ra was probably inevitable. But still. She had to try.

She pulled over and rolled down her window to give the person behind her a piece of her mind only see that the driver of the car was Kyuhyun.

"Wait what? What the hell are you doing here?"  Alexis' face was all red and wet from the tears. "I came here to stop you from doing anything stupid," he replied. "What do you mean?" Alexis questions.

"Look, I don't know how to say this but Woo Bin is making a huge mistake."

"Huh?"

"Woo Bin still loves you, he always has. I see it when he looks at you. It's the way I look at you. But more importantly I see the way you look at him. You guys are meant for each other. Why are you letting Ae Ra get in the way? She's not even pregnant. The only reason Woo Bin is still with her is because she black mailed him with exposing his family's business," Kyuhyun explained.

"That's amazing but why are you telling me this now? I know you like me but why are you sacrificing it?" Kyuhyun sighed,"I don't want to end up like my cousin. She's evil and more importantly I want you to be happy." Alexis ran to Kyuhyun and engulfed him in a giant hug. She was even more happy knowing that he would say this to her even when he didn't know she was already going to stop the wedding.

"Haha now now don't go all mushy on me. Besides, I'm sure I'll find someone even prettier with my good looks," he grinned. Alexis playfully hit him. "Now go, go stop that wedding!" Kyuhyun pushed Alexis back into the car.

Alexis drove as fast she could to Woo Bin. The first thing she saw as soon as she ran in was Ae Ra picking out the floral arrangements for the wedding with the florist while Woo Bin sat on the couch completely disinterested.

"Woo Bin!" Alexis exclaimed. Woo Bin got up and turned towards Alexis in surprise. She ran towards Woo Bin while Ae Ra shot daggers at her. 'What's this crazy bitch doing here?' Ae Ra thought.

"I still love you Woo Bin. I always have. And I won't let this wedding happen even if my life depends on it!" Alexis revealed. Woo Bin was shocked,"I've always loved you too but-but I-I thought you hated me!" "No of course not. I could never," Alexis looked in to Woo Bin's eyes with admiration.

Ae Ra got up and screeched,"Yah get your hands off my fiancé! It doesn't matter if you love each other! I'm pregnant and Woo Bin depends on me!" Alexis scoffed," Oh yeah about that, stop lying. Kyuhyun told me everything. It's good to know that not everyone in your family is shameless."

Ae Ra was fuming in anger,"Well congratulations. The bimbo finally found out. Too bad Woo Bin still needs to marry me or I will expose his family." Ae Ra smirked like a genuine psychopath.

"That's where you're wrong. Because Woo Bin won't need your help anymore. My father's company, Canoj, will combine with the Song family business through the union of marriage," Alexis looked up at Woo Bin. "Song Woo Bin, will you do me the great honor of letting me be your wife?"

"With all my heart," Woo Bin and Alexis shared passionate kiss as Ae Ra witnessed. Woo Bin grinned. "Let's get out of here," Woo Bin grabbed Alexis and they ran far, far away from Ae Ra.

[15 years later]

Alexis and Woo Bin laughed as they recalled their past. They had three beautiful kids, a ten year old girl and a set of five year old twin boys.

Alexis and Woo Bin stared at their kids in awe and shared a passionate kiss. Even after fifteen years their love was as deep as it was in the beginning. Their kids whined in disgust as they witnessed their parents kissing while the parents just laughed. Woo Bin and Alexis had truly overcome all obstacles to love each other. And now they were finally...complete.❤️
