Finally Life

an idea came to me then. could we bring Julia back to life? I mean this world was so..so messed up that surely we could.

"I have an..idea" I said nervously

"What?" Isabella asked her cheeks tear stained

"bring Julia back to life" I replied

there were looks of disbelief all around until Fletcher nodded.

"you know it might work. I saw a book in the other room something about raising the dead. I thought it was a joke but now..."

"ok cool. why you take Jackson and Isabella to help you I'll Umm get Julia out.." I muttered

he nodded and along with Isabella and Jackson left the room. I took a deep breath and dug around in my bag feeling for the hunting knife I had in there. I pulled it out and everybody stared at me wide eyed.

"don't ask" I said and they nodded

I walked tentatively towards the body and knelt down being careful to not get the still warm blood on myself.

"Why does it have to be me?" I groaned

"because you're the only one who doesn't get grossed out looking at blood and guts and all that plus you want to be a vet right?" Ekkia said smiling

I nodded.

"well here's practice then" she replied brightly

"ok first yeah I don't get grossed out and second yeah I do want to be a vet but I will be doing surgery on animals not cutting open dead clowns" I grumbled

Sophie laughed and I gave up so with a weary sigh I ran my knife lightly over the clowns bare flesh on his stomach. blood slowly oozed out but not much, I started to cut deeper and longer pushing down harder and harder on the cold metal blade until I had made a deep cut vertically all the way down his stomach. I started then to cut horiznotably then making to flaps that I could then pull back and get a good look at his insides. I didn't have any gloves so my only option was to use my hands to pull back the flaps.
