sorry for not updating for awhile I've been busy with school and stuff. so thnx for being patient :-P

"What if this doesn't work?" I asked curiously

nobody answered. I had no idea why we were here. we had obviously made some enemies somehow but who? and how? they were some serious enemies I realised to do this and I literally had no idea what I was doing at all. I didn't know if this is what I was supposed to be doing or what but I was doing it and that's all I knew. tenderly I pulled back the flaps of clown skin only to drop them in surprise. the clown was full of freaking confetti. confetti of all things. looking closer I realised his intestines were coloured streamers, his lungs were scrunched up tissue paper and his heart was a ruby crystal. I ripped out his heart greedily before shoving my hand into his paper bag stomach to fish around for Julia. she wasn't there. she wasn't anywhere.

"What's going on? " Ekkia asked looking disgusted as I dug around in a dead clown.

"she is not here" I snapped back irritably

I dug around a bit more my hand brushing something cold and metal. I braced myself and pulled it out, almost dropping it in surprise when I saw that it was the gold locket Julia wore around her neck. something compelled me to open it and out dropped an odd looking seed. now I was no gardener or botanist but I was pretty sure seeds weren't supposed to glow bright green. I hesitated in touching it, it looked radio active. slowly I reached down and snatched it up, it felt warm in my hand.

"bad news everybody " I stood up and addressed everyone

"What?" Sophie replied. what was a word that was being used often.

"no Julia" I muttered. "but I found a seed" I added more enthusiastically

I waited until the excited chatter had died down before suggesting we go outside and plant it. there was no debate. we headed outside a little fearfully and found a square of dirt in this concrete wasteland. we used the shovel to crack the hard dirt and I planted the seed. we watered it. nothing happened for a few moments before the ground started to shake and crack and a huge stalk burst out of the ground.

"well?" Sophie asked

"well now we climb" I replied
