Her Guardian

Chapter 14

Alice

This was all so weird.

I found myself again after 2 years.

The fact that I am Myra, that I was the guardian was unbelievable.

But looking at the castle, it seems as if I know every nook and cranny.

The library is to the right.......... The spiral staircase on my right leads to the ballroom......... The spiral staircase on my left leads to the Dining hall.........

Indeed I knew them.

I had regained my memory, I was Myra!

So they were not dreams, they were in fact the  flashbacks  of my past.

But why didn't Carlos recognize me?

That was something to ponder about.

I was yanked by my leash, cutting off my thoughts.

" What the hell are you waiting for pet? Come on soon. " Olivia screeched.

I looked straight into her eyes, feeling brave, after all I was Myra!

"  You dare look into my eye! " She bellowed.

Her hand came down to slap me. I acted quickly and dodged, catching her hair and yanking it harshly.

I caught hold of the end of the chain on my leash and lifted it......

Bringing it down on her, I hit her multiple times with it, on her back, face, knuckles, everywhere..

Blood oozed down from her body, the force with which I hit her had cut through vampire skin which was considered impossible!!!

The were deep slashes all over her body, her clothes were torn and bloodied.

But that was not what what captured my attention..

I saw fear in her eyes, fear which I had always longed to see, fear which would put any lion to death.

Yes, fear!

I threw the chain down, yanked her up by her collar and looked right into her fear filled eyes.

" You stay away from me, you get that?  STAY AWAY! " I spat, throwing her onto the floor and making my way back to Daniel's room.

I ignored the stares of various vampire onlookers and their pets and kept walking.

"  You disgraceful pet!  How dare you! We are vampires! You are inferior to us. You will be killed for this. " Someone shouted.

I turned, two vampires came rushing at me. I quickly dodged them caught one by his head and kicked the other. The first vampire tried to get hold of me.  I caught both the sides of his head and heaved......

With an ear splitting crack, his head dropped onto the marble floor, blood splattered every where.

His thrashing body went limp in my hands.

I threw his body down and looked for the second vampire. He stood in the corner, eyes widened and mouth open in shock as he slowly took in the scene in front of him.

He saw me and tried to run.

The coward.

I caught up with him in no time, vampire speed was no match for me, even though his speed made him a blur.

I did the same with him, the crack echoed through the corridor...

I let his head drop too....

His body slumped onto the floor.

I picked both of their heads and threw it at Olivia, who shrieked and cringed.

I smirked at her and continued on my way to Daniel's  room.

None of the vampires dared to attack me again. They all stared at the two beheaded bodies on the floor, paralysed in shock and fear.

I reached his room when realization hit me.

I had just killed two ruthless vampires with my human hands.

I wasn't even a vampire hybrid to acquire such strength and speed.

Then how the hell was it even possible?

I was staring at my bloody hands in shock when I heard the door creak open.

"Alice! "

I looked up when he called my name, taking in his beauty.

"  Alice!  Come inside, what are you doing out there? "

That was all it took, I burst into tears, hugging his stone like body. Blood smeared onto his shirt from my hands as he hugged me back. I buried my head in his chest and sobbed.

He sniffed the air.

" Alice, why do I smell vampire blood?"

I straightened from my hug, wiped my tears and stood.

" I killed two of them. "

His eyes went wide as he stumbled back."  What?! "

I nodded"  I do not know how, but I beheaded them. "

"With? "

"With my bare hands. "

"  But that is not possible! Human   strength is no match for us!  Vampire skin is harder than granite! "

" I don't know.... "

  "  Are you a hybrid?"

   I shook my head.  " I'm pure human."

He looked thoughtful for a moment, then he caught my back and ushered me inside.

" It is not safe for you here now, the Lord will try to kill you. "

" Listen Daniel, I have to tell you something! "

He waited.  I took a deep breath and narrated everything to him, from the start of my flashbacks to me remembering everything today.

He inhaled a gust of air in shock and exhaled.

Then he said "I believe what you are telling is the truth. I will tell you everything."

Now I hope you guys've understood.

Alice is Myra, her dreams were her flashbacks.

She had forgotten everything. The reason will be disclosed.
