“Kasey, Kasey, get up you idiot! Your alarm has been going off for like, the past twenty minutes, do you really want to be late for school?”

          Ugh mornings. I hate them.

Especially Monday mornings, which are school mornings.

And even more especially is if you wake up due to your older sister yelling at you to get up like a maniac.

Annoying as hell, sisters are your own personal alarm clock that’s unable to shut up because it doesn’t have a stupid off button.

Wait, did I just hear my alarms been going on for twenty freaking minutes? Crap. I’m so going to be late.

I shoot straight up and look at my eighteen year old older sister Jackie. “What, what do you mean?” I ask and look at the clock. Its 7:35, class starts at 8:00. “Oh crap,” I say getting off the bed.

“Don’t I deserve a thank you for getting you up?” Jackie asks putting her hands on her hips.

I glare at her. “You would have gotten one twenty minutes ago if you would have woken me up then, now get out!” I yell pointing at the door.

Jackie snarls at me and flips her red hair back and walks out the door.

“And lock it,” I add and she turns to me and locks the door before walking out.

I walk over to my closet and grab a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a white blouse.

I walk out of my room and into the bathroom. I change out of my soft white fluffy pajamas and put on my outfit. After tucking in my blouse I grab my tooth paste and tooth brush and start brushing my teeth.

          I look at my hair.

Terrible, terrible mess. I think. I grab my brush and start brushing it.

After getting my hair perfect with each of its curls, I hear my sister yell at me to hurry up or I’m dead.

I sigh and apply my makeup. Blush, lipstick, mascara, eye liner, eye shadow and…that’s it. I think and walk out of the bathroom. Grabbing my book bag from the hallway I run down stairs and into the kitchen.

“There you are,” Jackie yells. “You’ve been in there for like, forever,” she says dramatically.

I roll my eyes and look at the clock. “It’s only been twelve minutes. You are too impatient.”

She sneers at me and tosses me a banana. “Just eat, we gotta go.”

I nod catching the banana. “Where’s mom?”

“Already at work, now come on!” Jackie says sounding frustrated.

I scurry out the front door, Jackie following behind. I walk over to Jackie’s black Convertible and get in. Jackie gets in the driver’s seat and starts the car.

I watch Jackie as she drives out of the drive way and heads on out to school.

I turn on the radio and the song ‘We are Never Ever Getting Back together’ by Taylor Swift starts playing.

“Oh, I love this song!” I squeal and I start to sing along.

“I know you do, you wouldn’t stop singing it last night,” Jackie complains.
