Look up the etymology of the word "identity" and you will find that it means to be the same or identical, yet an identity is supposed to make things not seem so same... hmm?? So basically we are all just the same yet the way we are socially viewed creates differentiation, granting us our socially constructed identities. So does reality shape personality or does personality shape a person's reality? Who creates our identities?
