Imogen's POV
"Is everyone asleep?" I ask walking into our house with 2 newborn babies after spending 4 days in the hospital
"well it's 8:30 the kids should be asleep"
"You wanna go check Love? I'll put the boys in their crib"
He gives me a kiss on my cheek and put's all the hospital bags down and goes upstairs.
"Welcome home boys," I said taking them upstairs.
We only had one crib because we didn't know were expecting 2 but lucky for us we had another one From Briar
I heard the door open and I turned around to see Joe closing it very softly
"Are they asleep?"
"All of them are and your sister"
"They'll just have to wait till the morning then"
"I can't wait for them to meet the boys"
Joe wrapped his hands around my waist from behind and rested his chin on my head
"They are so precious," Joe says
"Look they have the Mazzello's nose"
"everyone one of our children have my nose"
"You're lucky it's a cute nose" I turn around and gives his nose a kiss and then escaping his arms
"I'm going to get changed" I give his cheek a kiss and walk into our closet and getting changed into my pyjamas
"Joe?"
"Yeah Love?"
"Can you get me some pain killers?"
"Why? are you feeling ok?"
"I have a massive headache otherwise no pain anywhere else"
"Ok I'll be back"
I walk out and go to cribs.
"You, boys, are going to be just like your daddy I can already see you, boys, playing baseball for the Yankey's, I can see your Older brother Tanner Acting and Luke also likes music maybe he will be a rockstar and little Briar, I know she will be like me have a big family, have a job that involves kids. Soon all of you are going to be so big, you're going to get married, going to have kids of your own. you won't need me that's why I'm going to spend every minute I possibly can with you"
I hear Joe clear his throat and I turn around to see him leaning against the door frame staring at me
"Go the painkillers," he says shaking them and walks towards me
"Thank you, How much did you hear?"
"Everything," he says popping a tablet into my hand and giving me a glass
"Oh" I take the tablet and Joe wipes my tears away
"You ok?"
"Yeah, I'm fine they are just growing up so fast"
"I know, I know," Joe said pulling me into a hug
"Hey we have two newborns we need to enjoy every moment"
"Your right, I'm sorry"
"It's ok to love, Why don't we go to bed?"
"Good idea"
Joe and I went to bed. Joe went straight to sleep. but I couldn't, My eyes would not let me fall asleep. Even if I tried one of the boys will cry or both.
"Gen?" Joe said waking up
"Yeah"
"Why are you up? did the boys wake you?"
"No, they haven't woken up once"
"Come to sleep you need it"
I finally lay down in bed and Joe pulled me closer to him
"You wanna talk about it?"
"I'm fine"
"I dont believe you"
"I know you don't"
"Then talk to me"
"I'll tell you tomorrow. Ok?"
"Fine! But promise me you will go to sleep"
"I promise"
"you know I will know if you don't"
"I know, Now go to sleep, you idiot"
