Caitlyn's POV
I woke up to find Ben not next to me. My head was killing me! I am definitely hungover. The bathroom door opens and Ben walks out with wet hair and a towel around his waist.
"Good afternoon Princess," Ben said as he made his way over to the closet
"Afternoon? how long did I sleep?"
"Well it's 2 in the afternoon and I brought you to bed last night around 4:30? 5?" He said as he steps out with only his pants on a shirt in his hand
"The kids?"
"The kids are fine. They are watching a movie downstairs." Ben said as he puts his shirt on
"Did they have breakfast?"
"Yes I made them breakfast."
He sits down on the edge of the bed near my stomach and gives me a kiss
"Talk to me. tell me what's wrong babe" he says
"Nothings wrong" I lied to him
"No something is. you were drinking last night and if I know you any better I believe when you drink when I'm not around something is wrong" He says as he started caressing my hair
"It's too hard to explain "
"we got all the time in the world. Unless one of those kids are going to knock on that door demanding for something" He says and I let out a small giggle
"Trust me everything is ok, love. I couldn't sleep last night thats all and I thought maybe some alcohol will help me sleep"
"Alcohol is not the answer Caity! remember last time you acted like this?"
The memorise started floating in my head. I had just lost my daughter Mackenzie and I was basically depressed. Never knew I was pregnant with twins and attempted to take my own life. The thoughts and the memories of that time made me cry
"No, no Caity dont cry Princess," Ben said wiping the tears from eyes
"It's been so hard Ben. No one will understand" I say as I sat up and faced him
"Talk to me Caity. I want to know what's going on"
"I want to tell you but you won't understand" I look down
"Look at me" Ben grabbed chin and made me look at him
"You can tell me anything you want. I will understand. I am going to help get through anything that is going on" he said and I nodded
"I'm scared Ben"
"Scared of what?"
"Everything! I can't sleep anymore! the smallest noise at night will scare me or the slightest thought of me dying and leaving you and the kids alone is scaring me! I am up all night, alone, watching Tv and probably getting through a full bottle of wine in 2 days" I cover my face with my hands and I start crying
"Caity why didn't you tell me this earlier I could have helped you"
"I thought you would hate me," I said looking up at him
"Why would I hate you, Baby? It's part of my Job as a husband to make sure you're ok"
"But you would think I'm crazy for being scared"
Ben grabbed my hand and pulled me into a tight hug
"No, you're not crazy! I understand why you would be scared. It, not an everyday thing that people experience"
"I know but-"
"Caity, Listen to me. I am going to help you and we are going to get through this together if that means sacrificing my time to help you calm down then I will do it. If it means staying up all night you, I will do it. I'm not going to let you be alone. I won't let last times event happen again"
"Thank you, Ben. What would I do without you" I say breaking out very long hug
"I'm always here for when you need me. And to answer your question I have no clue what you would have done if we didn't date back in high school" he said and we both laughed
"I love you," I say
"I love you too!" He said and i started crying again
"Why are you crying?" He asks me
"Because I love you and im so lucky"
"I can say the same thing! Come on stop crying I wanna see my wife's beautiful smile"
I gave him a small smile
"Not enough" he said as he stuck his hands up my shirt and started tickling my waist
"Ben! Stop!" I said I'm between laughs
"There's that smile I like to see!" He said as he stops, but keeps his hands under my shirt and gives me a kiss
"I hate you!" I say giving him another kiss
"Then why did you kiss me?" He said with a smirk on his face
"Oh no you caught me in a lie" I said giving him another kiss
"Come here" He said as he pulls me on top of him and gives me another kiss
"DADDY!" One of the kiss walked into the room and I quickly got off Ben
"Yes princess?" Ben said as he sat up
"Ollie and Parker told me I wasn't pretty" Steph said crossing her arms
"Well tell them Daddy thinks your very pretty!" He said giving her forehead a kiss
"You think I'm pretty?" She asked
"I think both my girls are very beautiful!"
"Thank you daddy!" She said hugging onto his neck
"Now go back and finish watching the movie Mummy and I will be down in a few" Steph nodded and left the room closing the door behind her
"Where we?" He asked me
"The part where you were going to take my shirt off!" I said as he gets on top of me and I wrap my hands around his neck
"Are you sure your ready?"
"Oh I am ready!" I said leaning up and giving him a kiss
"Oh how I missed you" he said in between our kisses
"Oh I know you have. When I'm awake during the night, you dream about me" I said and Ben stops kissing me and looks at me
"What?"
"The other night you were moaning me name in you sleep" I said laughing
"I didn't! Didn't I?"
"Oh you did! But I missed you too there's no doubt about that!" I said as I pulled him down and gave him another kiss
