Imogen's POV
"We're home!" I yelled as Tanner and I walked through the door
"There's my first day at schoolboy! How was it?" Joe asks Tanner as he gets down to his level and pulls him into a hug
"I had fun Daddy! and I have a new friend her name is Bridget" Tanner said
"Bridget huh?"
"Yeah, She's really pretty"
"Oh, I think my son has his first crush," Joe says and gives Tanner a high fives
"Hey, show daddy what you made today," I say taking off my Jacket and hanging it on the coat hanger
Tanner puts his bag on the floor and opens it up taking a piece of paper out and hands it, Joe,
"See thats You, Mummy, Me, Luke and Briar," Tanner said pointing to each person he drew
"You're a real artist, you can be an artist someday," Joe said
"No, I wanna be like you daddy! I wanna be an actor and I wanna meet a dinosaur"
My heart melted at those words and I saw a smile grow on Joe's face
"Then we'll make that happen" Joe says pulling him into a hug
"Hey Luke has been wanting to play trains with you all day, Go play with him," Joe Says Standing up again while Tanner Runs to luke
"And how was work today, Angel?"
"It was good really, My new class is so quiet this year let me tell you," I said laughing
"How are Luke and Briar?" I ask
"Luke is good he was missing Tanner terribly though and Briar has been an angel all day...She's asleep right now"
"Ok, then that means I can have some time to relax...Heard anything from Ben?"
"Yeah, They apparently Just moved into their new house and Caity's Pregnant again"
"Really, good for her," I said rolling my eyes
"Gen, Do you want to talk about it?"
"It's Been one month and we haven't spoken to each other at all. I'm not mad at her and to be honest, I miss her, I'm just mad"
"That's normal but one day you guys will see each other again and then the classic best friend duo will be back"
"You really think so?"
"I know so!" Joe said and then leaning in a giving me a peck on my lips
"Now, Do you want some coffee or tea?" Joe asks me
"Coffee please"
"One coffee coming up, with some cookies?"
"Yes please... your the best husband ever"
"and you are the best wife ever!" Joe said and I gave him a kiss this time
"Now hurry up!" I say breaking the kiss and slapping his butt as he walks to the kitchen
