A/N: Now that I had finally finished the last remaining season of voltron, I can now give my thoughts on what my opinion and perspective on things within the series.

(I only kept managed to finish it because time after my dog died, I couldn't sleep at all and I needed something to try and drown it out. I'll leave you guys to this page while I'll be heading up to my cousins today. I may post more pages later on).

And let me reiterate, this is my OPINION and PERSPECTIVE on how I've been viewing the episodes of the series. I would greatly appreciate it if people would respect said opinion and perspective. With that out of the way, let's begin.

So.... what are my thoughts on the series as a whole, especially after watching the 7th and 8th seasons? I personally think it's still a pretty good show for the most part.

Pros:

*The series has some really fantastic animation, giving the show an anime feel to it, just like the original voltron and the golion anime it was dubbed from.

*The story is really well done, giving a very nice retelling of the story from the original series while introducing some very new elements within it.

*Most of the characters, like the story, were well written and each had their own defining personality. They each got their own development so that we could be able to get to know them better. This goes for the villains of the story too as we get to see what they're like, how their stories go and how things with them change.

*The show gives some really nice comedy here and there while also tending to get seriously dark when it needs to. (The journey within possibly being one of the darkest out of the series).

*It introduces us to many new planets and aliens races throughout the series. So similar to ones of old series, some new.

*The designs of said, creatures, characters and planets were also really great for the most part. Like some of the galra characters.

*Some of the references within the shows towards other series was always nice thing to see.

*I personally think the relationship between Lance and Allura was good for the most part. It started off slow, but around the later season, Lance's feelings for her were more shown and he eventually finally got to tell her how he truely felt.

*Most of the fights were were a nice treat to sit throughout.

*Voltron's merging scene with the Atlas was probably the best transformation scene within the show.

*I think the last few episodes of season 8 were a nice finale and send off for the show. Finally giving the long awaited closure for the characters. (For the most part).

*Allura's sacrifice was a massive heart breaking moment as she was not just one of my favorite characters, but seeing her having to leave lance and the rest of her friends was saddening to see.

Cons:

*The transformation sequence of voltron happens a lot through the same length as the first time and I can understand that it's to possibly pad out the episode to fit the 22 minute mark and most mech series do this.

*I felt somethings went a tiny bit quickly for the characters discovering the abilities of their lions and voltron. (Though, that's just slightly).

*The game show episode in season 7 felt kinda pointless to me.

*The lions getting knocked out of their combined form (Voltron) whenever they're hit hard enough seemed to have happened a lot. I know that it's to show how powerful the threat or weapon is towards voltron and it's paladins, but still.

*And then we come to this, The whole Adam thing. To put it simply, I think that we should have gotten more screen time with adam to develop his character and what his relationship with Shiro was like and how close they were, so that way, his death would be a lot more emotional to the viewer.

(But, I also need to say that I think people complain way too much about the whole thing with him rather than how to fix the problem or how it should have been).

*The last part is another one, this time, with Curtis, we should have gotten more screen time with him, having him comfort shiro a little on Adam's death, getting close to him and knowing more about him and curtis himself developing and even helping shiro move on after adam's death to help make the relationship the two have at the end be more heart-warming.

And the cons end there.

And so, that's my review on of Voltron: Legendary Defender. My final thoughts? My opinion and perspective on this series is actually somewhat similar to the one I've had for the Godzilla Anime Trilogy. It's this thing that's been getting a lot of flak and complaints from people, but given my own viewing, I don't really see too much of what the people giving said complaints are.

While the last two seasons have some problems with them, I still think they're well enough to be enjoyed. Voltron: Legendary Defender was a great watch and I really do recommend it to those who have yer to check it out. It's on netflix. And if you don't have that, try kisscartoon.

I give Voltron: Legendary Defender an 8/10.
