I put my suitcase into the back of the car and got in the back seat. dad smiled encouragingly to me in the mirror
" I would never think that someone from our family is going off to boarding school." he said. mum got in the front seat with my back pack
" you almost forgot this" she said while turning around to give it too me.
" thanks"
dad started the car and we were off. I craned round to wave to my sister and have a last look at the house. now all I need to do is look forward.
the journey was 2 hours long and I wanted sleep through it. but I could not. I decided to voice my worries to my parents. so instead of 2 hours of sleep I got a loving reassurance from my parents. and surprisingly I felt better. the knot in my stomach was slowly dissolving away.
when we arrived I survived a strong shock. the school looked even better than on all the pictures. in the front was a big massive building that looked a bit like a castle or mansion. consulting my map I realised that this was the sleeping blocks and dining areas. we parked in the parking area.
"Leave your stuff in the car we will get it later." mum said looking at the building as well. with that we walked toward the entrance.
