Kokichi waited outside for Kaito, his heart fluttering and pounding at the memory of his first kiss, smiling to himself.
When he felt a hand on his shoulder, he whipped around, expecting to see Kaito, but instead he saw A navy haired boy smiling at him, hand still gripping the poor boy's frame.
"Good afternoon, Ouma-Chan! Would you like to walk home with me?" Shuichi asked, smiling.
Poor Kokichi didn't know how to say no, but his decision was made for him as Shuichi began to drag him away.
It's not that Shuichi Saihara is a psychopath. He's not crazy, he insists as such. He just lacks feeling. He never felt, all from a young age. The first thing that made him feel was Danganroanpa. Watching the dead bodies, the executions, the fear and pain on the contestant's faces... It filled him with such a great feeling, a feeling that made his blood rush and his face heat up just thinking about it. The second thing that made Shuichi Saihara feel was that boy. That sweet, shy boy, so tiny and fragile, it comforted Shuichi knowing he could break that boy at any second. He fell deep in love with the boy, but maybe it wasn't love just as much as it was infatuation. He didn't care all that much though. The third thing that made Shuichi Saihara feel, was a very different feeling. Pure, unadulterated, rage, all induced by Kaito Momota. It filled the boy with anger, to even think that heathen could try to take Kokichi from him. In Shuichi's mind, Kokichi was a possession. A possession that belonged to him and him only. And he would make sure of it.
And so he held Kokichi's arm, smiling and talking about his favorite show while grinning at the boy, who looked quite uncomfortable. Shuichi kept talking though, obsessively touching him. Not innapropriately, but things like stroking his cheek, rubbing his arm, playing with his delicate fingers and resisting the urge to snap them like twigs.
Shuichi's words soon faded out, stopping to stare at Kokichi with a violent sort of look in his eyes
Kokichi took the moment to start running, but was quickly pulled back by the navy haired boy.
"Where are you going?" He asked. "I thought I would drop you off at home!"
'But you don't know where I live' Kokichi signed with trembling hands.
"Of course I do!" Shuichi giggled, gripping the small boy's hands with a psychotic smile. "I know everything about you, Kokichi."
Kokichi's eyes widened. He never told Shuichi his name. He tried to step backwards in fear, but Shuichi had an iron grip.
"So let's go! I'll walk you home!" He grinned, a deranged look in his eyes that sent chills down Kokichi's spine, rendering him unable to decline.
And so they walked together, Shuichi not letting go of Kokichi's hand, keeping him captive in his grip.
All Kokichi could think about was Kaito. He was looking for him wasn't he? What if he's worried? What if he gets angry?
What if he doesn't care at all?
His thoughts were interrupted by Shuichi's voice. "We're here.~"
Kokichi blinked, confirming to himself that they were indeed at his apartment. He smiled at Shuichi, though it was forced, and reached for the doorknob. He was stopped, however, by Shuichi forcing him against the wall.
He was simply stared at, as Shuichi grinned at him, blushing madly and drool fell from his thin lips.
Kokichi looked at him in confusion and fear, attempting to struggle free until he heard a voice.
"Hey! What the hell do you think you're doing?"
It was Kaito. Kokichi was conflicted, he wanted to be saved, but he also feared that Kaito was mad at him.
"Let him go!" Kaito yelled, and Kokichi was immediately released. He watched Shuichi leave, a blank expression on his face.
Kokichi was pulled into a hug by the taller boy, who held him and rubbed his back, gently playing with his hair. Kokichi couldn't hide his tears, he had been so scared and confused, and he was glad to finally feel safe.
"Shh.. It's okay. You're safe now, I'm here." Kaito cooed, holding him close.
