Kaito carried the small boy downstairs, searching for one of his parents.

"Papa!" He called out, reaching the male in the kitchen. "I need help!"

Red eyes quickly turned to attention, the man showing off a grin. "Of course, Kaito! Is it homework?" He cut himself off as he saw the small boy, yet his attentive posture never drooped despite his shocked expression. "Oh my goodness! What happened?" He quickly ran over, gently checking his pulse and wounds. "MONDO!" He yelled, presumably to Kaito's other dad. "MONDO, COME HERE! NOW!"

A tall man with a pompadour resembling a corncob came downstairs, confused. "Taka? What's going on- holy shit-" The taller man ran to his side, noticing the desperation in his son's eyes.

Kiyotaka quickly took Kokichi, placing him on the couch and grabbing a First Aid Kit, Kaito trying to comfort him and keep him calm, reassuring him that his parents wanted to help him.

Once Kiyotaka returned with the kit, he quickly went to work cleaning and wrapping the wounds, as well as getting some ointment to calm the swelling on his cheeks. Mondo helped by not touching anything, and opting to emotionally support his stressed husband.

Once Kokichi was all wrapped and fixed up, he burrowed his face into Kaito, his shyness taking over as he was surrounded by so many people.

Kaito comforted him, stroking his back and hair, whispering sweet nothings to him to calm him down.

A shy boy with a mask over his lips for reasons he disclosed to so few, stood relaxed for once in the student council room, taking solace in the fact that he thought he was alone.

That is, until he felt a cold blade against the back of his neck, the small bit of skin just under the base of his long hair, the small, sensitive, weak bit of skin not covered by his mask. He squeaked and tensed, listening to the voice behind him.

"If you want to walk away unharmed, don't turn around. You are Korekiyo Shinguji, correct? Student council secretary, you know everything about everybody, but no one knows anything about you. Am I correct?"

Not knowing what to do, the poor boy nodded, shaking badly.

"Bring me Kokichi Ouma's file."

The quiet boy nodded rapidly, pulling a file out and handing it to his attacker. As a reward, the blade was removed from his neck, allowing him to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Any extra information?"

Korekiyo tensed again, realizing that it wasn't over yet. "Y-Yes. Kokichi Ouma is very unsociable, and selectively mute."

"I meant something I didn't know, idiot." The attacker snapped.

"R-Right, sorry. He was born with a high IQ, and is l-legally a genius. He is said to have a photographic m-memory, and is very good at lying, though he rarely uses this adv-vantage." The poor boy stuttered through his mask.

"That's better." The voice hummed, handing the file back. "Give me some dirt on Kaito Momota."

Korekiyo nodded again, shaking badly. "K-Kaito Momota is a bully at school, but he's d-done it so many times that the administration cant p-punish him anymore. H-He is ad-dopted and has two gay d-dads. N-No one else knows this, t-though."

"Hmm.. Interesting." The grin was apparent in his voice. He was lost in his mind and plans, and didn't notice Korekiyo pressing a button on a camera, capturing a photo he could look at later.

His hands were shaking as they returned to their place on the edge of the filing cabinet, taking again the same rhythm as his body.

"You can turn around when you hear the door shut. And if anyone finds out this happened, you're dead. So keep quiet, got it?"

Korekiyo nodded slowly.

He heard footsteps behind him, growing quieter and quieter until he heard the door open and shut.

He still didn't turn around, though.
