Time skip to the day of the UA entrance exam
Izuku's POV
I rolled over to the sound of my phone squawking as it did every morning. You'd think after almost a year I'd be used to it, but nope! I groaned and rolled over and picked up, and a 2:30 flashed up. I usually set it for 4:30, but I set it 2 hours earlier because I had something special planned. I was going to clean up the entire beach, going past the borders All Might had set. After about 10 minutes, I nudged and gently coaxed Skipper until he woke up. After all this time, I couldn't imagine my life without him. He so gentle and helpful yet fiercely protective, even my classmates have become attached to him, giving his own picture in the yearbook and his own special pillow so he doesn't have to lay on the hardwood floor! My condition had also taken massive improvement, going from 10-12 attacks a week, to only 5-6. It breaks my heart every time he has to his training, that whole week just feels...off. But every time he comes back it's like falling in love all over again.
He looked up and gave a drowsy and confused look. He had gotten used to being up early but this was a little too early to him. " Hey buddy, yeah I know it's early, but I promise you can sleep when we get to the beach," I told him softly. He seemed to be okay with that and then yawned and hopped onto the floor. I followed close behind him, and we started our daily routine; Get dressed, grab phone and bag, grab a toy to keep him entertained, his leash, and my house key. As we walked outside a cool breeze brushed my face making me shiver a bit. It was eerily quiet, enough to put anyone on edge. Despite all of this, I had a fire in my eye and was revving to go.' I have a good feeling about today' I thought before making my way towards the beach with Skipper closeby.
Three hours later
I struggled and pushed the last fridge on top of the pile. Every muscle in my body was screaming and aching. I felt like I going to pass out on the spot. But I grabbed what little energy I had left and climbed on top of the fridge, and the view I saw is one I'll never forget. The fresh, white sand glistened in the early morning light, small waves lapped onto the shore, and kind ocean breeze filled the surrounding air. Then with all the strength, I had left, I let out a loud victory cry. One that echoed beyond the horizon and could be heard from a mile away. At the same time, Skipper was letting out a victory cry of his own, almost as loud as mine. Then everything faded to black and I felt my body turn and fall off.
All Might's POV
I pulled up into the parking lot of the beach like normal. But this time when I got out, I heard a loud cry followed by an equal howl. I looked up and saw young Midoryia standing on a massive pile of garbage, giving an exhausted victory cry. I ran up to the base of the stairs leading down into the beach and couldn't believe what I saw! "It's...spotless! He even went beyond what I told him to clean!" I said in shock. As the cry finished, there was a moment of silence before his body fell and started hurling down towards the sand.
In a panic I raced down and caught him, not allowing even a scratch to touch him. At this time, I guess Skipper had figured out what was going on, raced down the stairs, and hopped onto my arm and started sniffing him in a mild panic. Then I felt his body begin to shift and his bright green eyes started to open.
Izuku's POV
I woke to feel instead of sand, 2 strong arms and a soft, fuzzy nose. I focused my eyes to see All Might giving me a proud smile. He gently set me upright on the ground and smiled even wider. Somehow I didn't immediately fall over again despite every inch of my body telling me to. Then he said " I'm extremely proud of you, you cleaned up the entire beach! Even the area I didn't tell you too! You've also cleaned up quite well physically! Look at yourself!" He gushed which made me blush a little.
