Suddenly the oven beeped, meaning the brownies were ready. I put on some oven mitts and took them out of the oven. They looked so good, but the scent was really mouthwatering. From the corner of my eyes, I could see two pair of eyes glued to the brown goodness in front of me.
"No, they have to cool down. I'm just gonna cut them in pieces now."
I made nice square pieces and eventually had 12 pieces.
"Olivia, can't we just share one piece? I'm dying to taste one."
"No, Monica. They need to cool down. Or you're dying to burn your mouth?"
Before I could say anything else she grabbed a piece broke it in half and gave the other part to Bellamy. As she took a bite I could see the tears in her eyes.
"Told ya they were hot." I smirked.
"But they taste sooo good. I mean you could literally sell these for $4 per piece and people would buy a dozen every time."
She wiped away some crumbles around her mount and started cleaning up the place. As did I.
"They're pretty decent. Could've been a bit chewier."
I threw a wet cloth to his head but missed by an inch. Bummer.
"Well, maybe next time you can bake us something?" Monica gave him a sarcastic look before he left the building.
"Such a nice person."
I looked over to the back of the boy in black jeans and a black leather jacket. His walk told me he didn't care about anything but himself.
"Well, get used to it. That's exactly the person he is. Walking in and out whenever he pleases. And at one moment you"ll fall for him. Just like all the others..."
She whispered those last words hoping I'd not hear them.
"Hey, you forgot Rob or something? I won't fall for him, neither will I let you down."
I pulled her into a hug and kissed her hair.
"I know. I know. I just don't want to lose a good friend."
"Oh stop with the cheesy comments. Let's wrap up the brownies and get back to the dorm."
We both took another brownie and put the rest in a box.

I really thought it was funny the way Monica and I could get along. I mean we've only shared this room for a couple of days and we're already like best friends. The crazy world since I never actually called someone a best friend. But Monica was an exception. She was laying on her bed with her headphones in. I threw a pillow to her to get her attention, which worked because she looked up unplugging the earplugs.
"Yeah?"
"Watcha listenings at? Put it on the Bluetooth speaker."
She gave me a strange look.
"You're not gonna like it. Like for real."
"Put it on anyway."
She huffed and connected the speaker.
Lewis Capaldi - Grace.
"You seriously think I don't like Lewis Capaldi?"
His voice was so nice and soothing. But some people could think it's a bit emotional. I like it anyway.
"Well nobody I know so far liked it.. but I guess this means we have to be friends till the end!" She gave me a genuine smile and looked back at her phone.
"You still up for the party tomorrow? Peter asks if we could come before the party to have dinner over at their place. It's okay if you don't want-"
"No that's fine. Count me in!"
I don't know why I suddenly felt so good about going out. Maybe it was because Rob was always very overprotective whenever we went to a party. I could wear a trash bag and he still would say I looked way too sexy and then I would always end up in simple jeans and shirt. So this time I was definitely going to wear a dress.
A few moments later.
"Yes!"
Why in the world would she be screaming like that? I gave her a confused look.
"Well, Bellamy was supposed to come with us to the party. But turns out he got other plans."
And at that moment I don't think I saw someone smile so big.
"Your obsession for that boy.." I looked at her laughing with tears.
"Sorry, I try to be nice. But then again he's a jerk. For now, I promise not to talk about him for for the whole weekend. Let's go get some sleep. Cause we won't get any tomorrow."
"Yeah, sure. G'night Momo."
"Night Liv."
-
"Get yo ass out of bed."
"Hmmm.."
I groaned my bed was so comfy and warm and god I was drooling again. I quickly wiped away the saliva from the corner of my mouth.
"Why do I have to get up so early. Please let me sleep another couple of hours."
"Well I bought you coffee and it's already past eleven."
I don't know why I've slept so long. But getting out of bed wouldn't be a bad idea.
Sipping from the coffee I was thinking about what to wear tonight.
"Would it be appropriate to wear a dress tonight?"
"Olivia are you serious? As long as you don't wear underwear it's okay. Yeeeezz. You're wearing this."
She held up a blue dress. It looked at bit short but it wasn't too revealing. Though I wasn't quite sure about it.
"I'm not sure Monica.. I don't want to look like Hey I'm Olivia I am looking for a hook up!"
She threw her hands up in the air.
"You. Are. Unbelievable. Just put on the dress. I know you want to wear a dress. Please believe me when I say you will look stunning without a sign above your head."
