Rayla woke up to a loud banging at the door, she quickly got out of her pajamas and opened the door. It was Claudia standing right in front of her. She quickly went for her blades and pressed them against her throat. Claudia showed no fear of death in her eyes and starred into Rayla's eyes.
"Rayla, I know we don't have the best relations but I need to talk to Callum."
"Your not talking to no one until you explain your business to me."
"And what are you going to do about it Rayla... kill me? We all know you don't have the best track record of being able to follow through."
"Well maybe that will change Claudia, so now, what are you doing here."
"I have come to convince Callum to come back, where is he anyway, I would like to speak to him in person."
"I can't let you do that. You may have Callum's trust but you sure are lacking mine, and I am the one with the death threat."
"Fine, if you want to play like that, lets play. Mhet dnib leets nirehtyls!"
Her bracelets turned to snakes and quickly pinned Rayla to the doorframe. She tried for the cut but she was to slow and the snakes had already restrained her. Claudia walked past and called for Callum. She quickly located his room and woke him.
Callum looked up and saw Claudia starring back, he was surprised to see her. He got up and went outside of his room. He turned and saw Rayla, restrained. He turned to Claudia who just smiled back and was horrified how ruthless she was.
"Watch this Callum!" She squeezed her fist and by command, the chains tightened.
Callum watched in horror as Rayla was being crushed in front of him. He quickly turned to Claudia and stabbed her, knocking her off of her feet.
"It's going to be ok Rayla. Dnibnu leets nirehtyls."
Her chains turned back to snakes and she was freed. She was injured and could barely walk. Callum tried to get her away from the house as quickly as possible. Claudia came back, bleeding from the knife in her stomach. She ripped it out and rammed it through Callum's back. Rayla was only able to watch as this unfolded as she couldn't get up or walk from the five broken ribs she has. She slowly fades away in the grasses as the pain overwhelms her body.
She wakes up, surrounded by Earthblood Elves tending to her wounds. She can barely remember what happened, only that she was restrained and then tightness. After that it gets Hazy.
She tried to stand from her makeshift bed, but a shot of pain burst from her chest as soon as she even moved. She lay herself back down, the pain still radiating from the broken ribs. She finds her blades next to her bed and prepares to endure the pain to find Callum. She grabs them then fights through the pain to push herself as far as she can go. She makes it out of the medical tent then falls to the ground, already about to black out again. Another elf quickly assist her back to her bed and assures her that she can't and won't be able to move for at least a day.
She is helpless and she can't do anything about Claudia's escape. She accepts this as reality for now and wants the pain to stop. She lays her head on her pillow and starts falling asleep, a sleep she won't awake from
Callum, wounds treated, rushes into her tent as she fades away. He watches as her essence fades and she becomes one with infinity.
