The creek was a black ribbon and the tree-tops were begining to glow silver with the slowly rising moon. It was a tough winter, waiting for the result was so much heart throbbing, one would want to see their result so badly and yet don't want it to appear for some reason.
As the sand in the hour glass flowed, the result declaration day finally came followed by the call from scholarship department whereby students were asked to come for the interview.

Well, I thought that they had just collided each other while passing through. But it wasn’t. Destiny had something in store for them beacause they met again as if to say that they had some karmic connections. After the interview, 154 students out of almost 1000 students were selected as scholarship recepients- some for USA, Canada, India and in-country too. Throughout the orientation progrm, the visits to hospitals for the checkups and reports needed for submission to the scholarship division, they were together.

The Haste

And here was another funny moment during the eye test. Amy was seated beside the doctor and the doctor asked her to read the letters on the board in front of her. She was so much in hurry for she had so much left to do that she didn’t close one eye with her hand and read everything spontaneously with both her eyes opened, maybe the doctor was also in haste that he didn’t say anything but said that everything was okay and told her to go. Later on, when she came outside, she realized that she had forgotten to cover one eye while reading the letters and it seemed Jason was watching her all along. She gave him the widest grin, and not knowing how to cover her embarrassment for her foolishness, gestured him to follow her to another ward.

Form submission was in due and Jason and Amy both went together for the submission. Time seemed to have passed so fast and in the process of collecting all the documents from hospital, it was almost 4:00 in the evening, so Jason called his mom and they went to the office in his mom’s car. It was so uncomfortable for her though. His mom asked her some questions which she answered and she almost felt like she was in an interview.

It was all thanks to his mother that she could submit the forms on time and yeah... about Jason, she could never thank him enough.
