7th July
"It's the same world and the same blue sky. Yet the world back then and the world today seem like two different worlds - things have changed, time didn't stop and life kept going. But somewhere something seems to have frozen in the place and the time where I left it with a promise to return one day. And in this place, I found my memories - of the first cry of my life, of the first little steps, first letters of life and my very first group of friends." She was in her village.
8th July
She was back to the place where it had all begun, to her hometown. Days had passed by so fast like water rushing through the winding valleys beneath, never wanting to stop and her summer vacation was coming to an end gradually but surely. Life is so short to be wasted and to use time fruitfully means to spend it with our loved ones, with those who mean the world to us. And she was there, spending time with her grandma, cousins and back in the place where she had spent most of her crazy childhood days.
Life is really so uncertain, don't know what will happen the next moment, just a few days from then, she had planned and delved within herself of how she will spend the rest of the remaining holidays with Jason, going for long walks, visiting monasteries but all to no avail.
Talking about it, I don't know if their relationship will even work out. The differences in their choices, their taste of food, interest, what they watch, the type of songs they listen to - everything was like the two different poles in two different ends - so apart from one another. He liked fast food a lot and she didn't, he slept late and she, despite being an early bird, tried her best to stay late just so that she could chat with him; he liked coke and she liked mango juice, he liked modern English songs while she liked old country songs. He didn't eat street food while she was a fan of it. And they were like two ends of the magnet - so dissimilar yet together.
She had things to confess to him but thought it better not to tell him as she feared that somehow nothing will be as it was supposed to be. So even though she knew it was right, to tell the truth, she preferred keeping the secret all to herself.
"I will tell him about it later."
