Your point of view

After Jack had gone my exhaustion came flooding back over me again and I threw myself back on my bed, the doll in my limp hand. As soon as my head hit the pillow, however, I immediately fell asleep. My rest was long and dreamless, I was most likely too tired to dream, but sweet and well needed. I woke up refreshed and in a good mood, sat up and stretched my arms and flapped my wings to wake them up, yawning as I did so. The cold air made contact with my bare legs (I was still wearing my dark Pit outfit which involved shorts) as I threw the warm covers off me and swung my legs over the edge of the bed. I got up quickly, too quickly, and my still half asleep legs bent underneath me, making me slump to the floor.

However, to my surprise and horror, the floor collapsed too, the wood that was once under my feet crumbled away to leave a gawping dark hole that expanded at a rapid pace around the room whilst I fell through air. I screamed, my voice echoing around on the walls that I could hear were arranged in a circular way close by my sides. If it weren't for them I'd use my wings and try to fly back up but there was an extreme lack of space. To test my theory, I foolishly extended my right wing in search of the wall. I cried out in pain as it collided harshly with a hard, uneven surface, scraping against it painfully.

I felt blood spilling out of my wing and feathers being ripped out as I clenched my eyes shut tightly from the intense pain seering through my body. My course was altered by the impact and I was sent twisting into the other wall that collided harshly with my back, making me twist once more so my head fell first through the dark at an incredible speed. The wind whistled loudly in my ears, covering up any other sounds I heard, and it only got louder and increased in pitch as I fell quicker and quicker in the dark.

There was a sudden burst of light as my eyes shot open to discover I was now in a big open area but still about to crash into the ground head first. I twisted my body in one jerky movement to let myself fall flat through the air and quickly spread my wings in a desperate attempt to slow down my fall. I clenched my teeth as the air hit my body harshly, whipping at my skin and my wounded wing, making it sting even more. The floor came towards me at a high speed as I felt my heart beat grew increasingly loud, taking over the whistling of the wind. When I saw there was nothing else I could do, I simply shut my eyes tightly and prepared myself for my crash landing.

It hurt.

My body smashed into the ground with such power that the floor itself caved inwards from the impact, creating a huge crater in an explosion. Every inch of my body hurt, it was as if my skin had withered away to leave my insides being smashed to pieces by a cement wall. I couldn't move a muscle for a good ten minutes until I finally managed to bring my chin up to look above me, out of the crater whilst every cell in my head an neck screamed in pain for me to stop. As I expected, there was someone there, looking down at me. My eyes widened in surprise as I identified the female.

She wasn't wearing her usual outfit, this time she was dressed entirely in white. Her pure white skin was clean and seemed so pale that it almost glowed, contrasting with her long brown hair. Her one green eye glinted with a hint of malice whilst the clock next to it ticked regularly. She smirked at me before turning on her heal and skipping away.

"W-wait, Clockwork!!" I managed to screech out, setting my throat on fire. I grunted in pain as I struggled to bring myself on my hands and knees, my arms shaking and my skin burning with pain. My right wing still stung like mad, blood spilling out of my injury and trickling along the feathers to the ground. It left a trail of blood as I dragged my body out of the crater and took a look around.

I was in a vast, circular room and the floor pattern was arranged in a chess table manner and the ceiling stretched out like a dome, with the hole I had come in from being positioned at the centre. The place was well lit but I couldn't identify the source of the light and there were many corridors that led out of the room I was in.

"Wh-what the hell is this place!?"
