(A/N this is probably the most embarrassing chapter I've ever written. Don't worry, it's clean I just had to stop at one point at least five times before finishing the paragraph because I could just feel my brain saying " go go go" and my face saying "stop stop stop". The thing is I wrote this and my family were arond. Plus my grandma's over and she's French so she was just cluelessly looking at my work like "What are you writing about?" "Oh, a fight." (>.<) anyway here's the chapter, my whole nonsense should make sense after you read it. Sorry it's a little short but it's fluffy. Enjoy)

"Just a second please." was all I could say before pressing the 'mute' button so he wouldn't hear and dashed to Slender's room, yelling as I ran down the hallway, using my wings to boost my speed. "SLENDER!! SLENDER!!" I screamed, getting annoyed groans and a few curses from my brothers and sisters. But I was far from caring if I woke them up anymore. I kept on running through the mansion until I got to the imposing double doors and burst past them, making them clank loudly against the walls. Slender appeared a second afterwards, like he had just teleported from somewhere. He looked at me in a confused way.

"(Y/N)? What appears to be the problem?"

"I-It's...It's Z...Zalgo..." I panted, holding the phone to him. His already paper-white skin paled even more, making it almost translucent before he snatched the phone from my hand. He un-muted the phone and placed it where his right ear would have been.

"Zalgo, it's Slender." he spoke down the phone. How does he let Zalgo hear him? Can he send his mind through the phone?

'Focus (Y/N).' Ame reminded me.

'Oops, sorry.'

"Slender! My old friend, how have you been lately?" Zalgo's slightly mechanic voice echoed around the room.

"What do you want." Slender demanded bluntly.

Zalgo sighed, "Still as sharp as ever I see. I just thought I'd warn you, I'm going to attack your mansion on the blood moon at midnight. Until then, my dear friend." His sadistic laughter rang out until it was cut short by Slender hanging up on him. He handed me the phone back.

"I'm sorry he interrupted your rest. Please go back to sleep and place the phone back for me."

I nodded, at a loss for words, and walked out the office. The doors 'magically' closed behind me, not making a sound. Clutching the phone tightly in my hand, I made my way back to my room in quiet, alone with my thoughts.

He's...coming to the mansion to attack us on the blood moon. But we're not going to be there on the blood moon, we'll be at the CES's base to fight and get Masky back. What will we do, we have to leave Sally and Lazari at the mansion because they're too young to come to the CES with us. But now with Zalgo coming to the mansion on the same day, we can't leave them here alone. Zalgo and the CES are, I'm assuming, as powerful as each other so to fight them both off we'll have to split our forces in half. That means we're more likely to lose now.

My trail of negative thoughts was broken as the creaking of a door opening from my left drew my attention. I stopped and turned around to see Jack, without his mask, yawning at the entrance of his room. He was only in a shirt and some sweatpants, the mysterious black pits replacing his eyes standing out in the darkness, making them look endless.

"(Y/N)? Wha-aaat was the call about?" he asked, yawning in mid sentence. I hesitated. Noticing my troubled expression, he smiled at me. I felt butterflies erupting in my stomach, sending a warm felling all over me. I could feel the heat on my face, making it obvious that I was blushing furiously.

Jack stepped aside, putting his back to the door. I looked up blankly at him. He sighed and chuckled a little, "Come in (Y/N). Tell me about that phone call. "
