When I woke up, I was in a navy blue king sized bed. It took me a while to remember how I arrived here and I was a bit disorientated at first. Then it all came rushing back. Jack, my foolish decision to stalk him, everything. I took in my surroundings as I slowly sat up.

On my left there was a black desk with bookshelves attached to the wall. They were each packed full with book, each about medicine. You could get anything from "The constitution of the human body" to "How to cure a mental illness".

Directly in front of me, there was a wooden closet and, next to that, a door. The door was slightly open, letting me see a fraction of a huge bathroom.

To my right, there was a bedside table with a mask on it. The mask was fairly simple, it was navy blue with two black holes for the eyes, the same black substance which I had seen Jack "cry" had dried whilst leaking out of the eye-holes. I looked a little farther to my right where Jack slept, in a leather chair.

I must say, even in his true form, Jack was ravishingly handsome. And when I saw him sleeping there, with his mouth slightly open and revealing his sharp teeth, I thought he was so cute my heart melted. He just seemed so...peaceful. Like an angel, an angel of darkness. How I wish he was my angel of darkness, mine to keep and love and treasure for all eternity.

"I see you have awakened. Good afternoon (Y/N)" Where the HELL did that voice come from!? It was like it was inside my head! But that's impossible, right? I must have just imagined it, yes, that must be it.

"No, my child, you didn't imagine me."
I panicked
"What, now you can read my mind!?"
My sudden alarmed cry startled Jack and he awoke with a start, jumping to his feet and grabbing his scalpel for protection. The voice came back.
"Please calm down child! I mean you no harm!"
"Jack there's a voice inside my head! What do I do!?"

There was an awkward pause as Jack stared at me before he burst out laughing. I was completely and utterly confused. He laughed and laughed so hard black "tears" were rolling down his cheeks and he was on the floor, literally. Then suddenly, the voice shouted so loudly it made the whole place shake and a few drops of dust fell off the ceiling as I cringed at the power of it.

"CONTAIN YOURSELF E.J!!!"
Jack calmed down and stood up, still giggling a bit as he apologised and wiped the black liquid from his face. Then he picked up his mask from the bedside table and put it on. I frowned. Now I can't see his face. he noticed.
"(Y/N)? What's wrong?"
"I can't see your face anymore."
He seemed surprised.
"Th-that's kinda the whole point. Not many people want to look at me."
"But...I liked seeing your face. It's cute." WHAT!? (Y/N)!? Did you SERIOUSLY just say that to him!? I mentally slapped myself as I felt the blush come up to my cheeks. Little did I know Jack was blushing like mad too and was thanking God that he was wearing his mask because it was the only thing stopping me from seeing his embarrassed face.

The voice came back and cleared his throat, uncomfortable with the situation.

"Anyhow, I am Slenderman, the owner of this mansion. Nice to meet you (Y/N). Come to my office for some more detailed explanations. E.J, if you could please come too, I need to discuss a few things with you."

Jack nodded and we headed away down the hall to a large set of double doors. Jack knocked and entered, me following.

The room was spacious with a big windows covering most of the back wall. In front of it was a desk facing towards us, one leather chair behind it and two in front of it. All around were bookshelves filled with books. If I didn't know better I'd have said we were in a library.

Standing with his back to us was an extremely tall and slender figure in a black suit, he was looking out of the window. When he turned around to look at us I wasn't even shocked by his featureless face due to all the impossible things I had seen the day before.
