???'s point of view

"Wh-what the hell is this place!?" (Y/N) exclaimed. I smirked whilst observing her movements from above, curious as to what she would do next. The wounded and bloodied fallen angel shakily got up and, in an effort seemed so painful it even made me flinch, ran after White Rabbit, calling out her name.

"Clockwork! Wait!"

Naturally, I followed, keeping hidden in the shadows from the corners of the ceiling. White Rabbit kept on skipping away from the girl, never turning around. She stopped every now and then to let the angel catch up and to make sure she was still following, taunting the poor being. 'Catch me, catch me,' She almost seemed to be laughing out.

"Oh catch me, Alice." she and I both sang out. The poor angel seemed startled and looked around, seeking for me. However, obviously there was no way she could have spotted me, hidden in the shadows and all. (If your name is Alice, just pretend it isn't. Sorry for the inconvenience!)

"Who's there?"

"Who's where?" White Rabbit asked, faking confusion as she sent a mischievous smirk in my direction. I answered with a wide grin that glowed in the dark to White Rabbit yet not to Alice.

"I could have sworn I heard someone...wait, what did you call me!?" the Angel exclaimed, turning to face White Rabbit with an incredulous look in her eyes.

The brunette shrugged "I called you by your name, whatever do you mean, Alice?"

"Ali-"

"Anyway we better get going, we don't want to keep him waiting. "

"Him? Who's him?"

"Why, the king of hearts, who else."

"The king of hearts? Wh-whaaa!" Alice was cut off by White Rabbit grabbing her by the wrist and hurrying off through the symmetrical corridors. I quickened my pace too, not wanting to be left behind, and quickly trotted through the air whilst remaining invisible to Alice's eye. We got to a huge pair of double doors, both richly decorated by gold with a card representing the king of hearts in the middle of it. However, White Rabbit stopped.

"You can come down now, Cheshire. You've been hiding for far too long."

I smirked, "Perhaps so. " quickly descending to the ground, I revealed myself to Alice. Her eyes widened.

--Your point of view--

My eyes widened as 'Cheshire' descended through the air. That grin, it was impossible to mistake it. It was Grinny. Our Grinny cat.

"Alice, close your mouth else ants will crawl into it." he smugly remarked. I jumped and smacked my lower jaw into the one above, a crimson blush coming over my face. How embarrassing.

We turned back to the door and the other two stared at it in silence, as if dreading what was to come behind it. I side glanced to my right, where Cheshire was. And he was indeed Cheshire, no questions asked. Although he looked an awful lot like Grinny cat, there was, I realised, no way he could be the creepypasta I grew to adore like my own brother. His grin here was too large, teeth too sharp and clean. His fur was even a little too dark to be Grinny, if you looked closely, and his eyes were a completely different colour. Not to mention his awfully cocky personality which...well, got a little stronger. If only a little, it was still a huge difference that helped reinforce my suspicions about him not being Grinny cat but Cheshire cat.

And the same could be said about 'Clockwork' who, in fact, was not Clockwork at all. The Clockwork I knew was psychotic and frightening but all in all she was a great person. Her one green eye was always bright, always lively despite the hidden sadness at the very far side of it. Her clock was always ticking regularly and it always made you feel as though she was deadly yet not dangerous to you. However this Clockwork, no, White Rabbit, was threatening and more than just a little unsettling to be around.

"Alice." a rumbling voice, that I recognised as White Rabbit's, called out. I jumped and instantly turned to face her. What!? Now I'm even reacting to that stupid nickname!! ...Or is it a nickname? For all I know the person who's name they attached to me, Alice, may very well be someone else who resembles me, like White Rabbit and Cheshire.

"Yes Clockwor- er White Rabbit?" I asked.

"Don't you think your appearance is a little unsuitable for the situation? It is the king we're off to see." she remarked, eyeing me in a disapproving manner. I looked down at myself, indeed being in a poor state. My skin was bruised and dirty whilst my clothes were torn and bloodied. Not to mention my wings with feathers dirtier than a stray dog's fur. But what to do about it? It's not like I really had time to clean myself up or anything. I turned to White Rabbit, worry clouding my eyes.

"Can I refresh somewhere before seeing the king? Or is there no time?"

She raised an eyebrow at me before shaking her head, making my stomach drop in dread. However she turned to Cheshire with an expectant look.

"Go ahead, make yourself useful. For once." she mumbled the last part yet loud enough for Cheshire to hear, earning herself a hateful glare from the feline.

"I heard that." he hissed at her as he passed her to get to me.

However she just shrugged, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You were meant to."

"Tch, annoying brat." he growled under his breath. I smirked, so I was right, Cheshire is older than White Rabbit. It was pretty easy to deduct from their attitude, White Rabbit is a lot more cocky than her elder. Latter one turned to face me, irritation still faintly visible on his facial traits. Then, he closed his eyes and something told me I should do the same, some sort of strange feeling if you like. I felt my skin growing fresher and my wounds stung savagely, making me grit my teeth and wince in pain. My flesh grew back together where I had been cut, the damage disappearing in a painful procedure. I also felt my clothing change, soft satin wrapping itself around my body. After my wounds had all healed, they were left feeling fresh and renewed and somehow, sturdier. Once the pain had completely disappeared, I slowly creaked my eyes open to look down at myself. Sure enough, my skin was clean and immaculate whilst my body was enveloped in a beautiful black and deep blue dress. It was tight at the top, especially at the waist and then flared out into a large arrangement of drapes of satin to form a beautiful ancient style ballgown skirt.

"Impressive work as usual, Cheshire. Although I could have done better." White Rabbit arrogantly remarked with a defying glance at the cat.

"Well be my guest next time, I'd love to see your oh so beautiful work." he groaned, rolling his eyes. "But what's important now is that she can finally go to the king. Now then, let's go shall we?"

We nodded, getting ready for whatever was to come after that. I took a deep breath in order to free myself of a little anxiety and to summon up whatever courage I had left. And in one strong push from White Rabbit...

...The doors slowly creaked open...

Ooooooookay that was a pathetic chapter given the amount of time it took me. Sorry, as usual. My family came over so I didn't get much time to write. However they will be leaving tomorrow so I should be able to write more. So the next chapter should be there by Wednesday or Thursday and I will try as hard as I can not to disappoint you. I deeply apologize for the downfall in quality that has been going on lately. Cya all later, bye~~~~~Emanuel
