Cry no more, sweet child.
You will get better.
That may seem like a lie now, but it will get better.
You know what, go ahead, cry all you need to.
For I know that you have been strong for much too long.
Let your emotions show, maybe not to the whole world, but to yourself.
You will go through some hard times, sweet child, but remember that they will pass.
I'm sorry that you have to go through this.
I can't promise better days or that this will all go away.
I can't promise you anything.
Your memories will replay over and over.
The good memories will make you cry and the bad memories will make it worse.
Let them replay in your mind.
Let them show you how far you have grown.
I believe that you will get better.
Put the blade down, walk away from the sharp objects, they will not help you.
Talk to a counselor, teacher, parent, or me.
I am you from the past.
The you that had all kinds of shit happen.
From the loss of the definition of a good dad to bullies' words that will still affect you.
You are a strong child.
You can beat these suicidal thoughts.
You can beat the hateful names you are calling yourself.
You.
Are.
Strong.
Don't let these thoughts and fears take over your life.
I believe in you, sweet child.
You can do this.

Hi. I wrote this poem when I was fairly upset about something. Yeah...a lot of the poems were made when I was upset. So the idea behind this poem is that The past is mature, meaning that the past is the you that has gone through tons of things and understands more. The present is a child, meaning that the present is the you that is still figuring what to do and what path to take. The future is a baby, meaning that the future is the you that is still developing. That is how I kinda see life to be honest.
