Weed

I am a weed in a flower bed
The weed that everyone despises but yet everyone knows this weed
This weed is struggling to fit in because the butterfly that accepted the weed is escaping the weed's grasp
The butterfly says "I'm still here. I haven't left. I'm not gone."
But this weed doesn't believe that because of all the actions this butterfly is doing
This weed is dying from weed killer
Weed killer usually works from the outside, in
But this kind of weed killer is working from the inside, out
Shane Koyczan said that a heart doesn't break, it only bends
But this weed's heart has been bending for much to long
This weed's heart is not flexible
The heart is breaking
This weed has help but the help is not working for the weed
The weed has tried to find the source and fix it but this source is difficult to fix because the butterfly's feelings is the source
This weed just wants to see the butterfly better but the butterfly is shutting flowers and this weed out
This weed is struggling terribly
This weed...is tired of the pain...

I made this poem a while ago but never posted it but the butterfly is not dead, the butterfly has moved on. It was definitely for the better. The weed and butterfly talk every here and there but they mainly talk about the dragonfly. The dragonfly is mentioned in other poems. The weed and dragonfly have their arguments but the they always come back together. (The dragonfly probably knows who they are by just me saying that. I love you dragonfly, forever and always.) Btw I showed one of my teachers this poem and she said "But you're not a weed, (my name). You're a flower yourself...". I only remember that because she put it on the doc I shared with her. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Stay lovely cubs. Bear out.

I also realize that it's been forever since I've posted something and I apologize for that. School has kept me on my toes and I haven't really been able to find a good time to just sit down and write whatever my heart desires. I am currently writing something with dragonfly but I don't think we're gonna post it because it's more personal. If dragonfly wants to post it then he can, but I personally won't post it because it's up to him. Also dragonfly and I haven't abandoned Zodions so...maybe look forward to a new update? Again, that's up to dragonfly.
