george's eyes found paul's narrowed glare towards him. they spoke a thousand words, but george didn't know what paul was trying to do.

"what?" he mouthed to paul.

they were all at band practice. paul wouldn't stop glaring at him for a reason unknown to george and the rest of the boys. george shook his head and went back to playing the guitar, hoping he didn't have a piece of food or something stuck in his teeth.

after practice was over, paul went up to george with dark eyes and sacked him one. as his fist made contact to george's face, making him drop his guitar, everyone in the room instantly got quiet, all eyes on paul.

"what in the bloody hell?" george cried as he held his nose. "what's your problem?"

"did you tell molly not to be my girlfriend? hmm!? d'you enjoy being a home-wrecker? HUH?" paul shouted.

john began laughing out loud—and hard. both george and paul glared at him, their drummer colin also beginning to laugh. "shuddup dickface!" paul said to them.

"i don't even know what you're talking about, paul!" george yelled as he made sure his nose wasn't bleeding. lo and behold, it was. "look what you did to my face..."

"i don't care about your face! i care about molly! we had a discussion last night and... she wouldn't say whether she'd be my girlfriend," paul exclaimed. "i just know this has something to do with you, mother-" but before paul could utter another thing, george punched him back.

"boys," john shouted as soon as they began fighting back and forth. "ah, shit." he sighed and put his guitar down to break the fighting pair up.

they lunged at each other, not caring about the others safety or wellbeing. paul punched george's forehead, george hooked paul in the side of his head. it was all one big fighting mess between everyone.

john somehow broke them apart and scolded them— which was very unusual for him of all people, but, really, he scolded them hard.

"look at yourselves!" he pointed to their messy, frayed hair and scrapes on their bodies. "you two are making absolute fools of yourselves,"

they stayed quiet.

"i'm not joking! you're acting like children fighting over a toy." john said. colin nodded in agreement. "why are you two even fighting over her?" he asked.

george went to open his mouth, but paul already started talking. "last night, molly came over and we talked. i told her i wanted to be her boyfriend and she wouldn't stop changing the subject," he said.

"and how is that george's fault?" john put his hands on his hips.

"it's his fault 'cause i know they're always chatting and-"

"i haven't even spoken to molly since last week!" george butted in.

paul turned to him and shook his head. "yeah, but-"

"i couldn't've said anything to have swayed her!"

"but you like her!" paul shouted. john's eyes widened at this.

"how many times do we have to have this discussion, paul?" george yelled back.

"how ever long it takes for you to stop being a pus-"

john scoffed. "wait, you like her?" he piped up, drowning paul's voice in the conversation.

"i- no! no, i feel no attraction towards her! she's my best friend!" he replied.
