Sarada's side-

She hanged up on the call and sighed. It was alright that she missed the party but it was weird that her dad came home without telling her or her mother. They were on the way to the airport right now and she just had to ask her mom, she might have a clue about all this.

"Hey mom?" Sarada asked as she tapped Sakura's shoulder. "Yes sweetheart?" Sakura asked with a smile making Sarada smile as well. "Do you have any idea why dad's coming home tonight? I believe there's a reason for it and he just hasn't told me." Sarada said.

"Hmmm.... I think you're right about that but I might have a bit of an idea why Sasuke's coming home." Sakura replied. "What?! Please tell me mama!" Sarada said and Sakura giggled at her.

"Alright, this is kind of a sensitive subject to your father, so I suggest you don't ask not bring it up to him. The day your clan was massacred years is coming up in a few days. I think your dad wants to stay in Konoha for a while because of that." Sakura explained and Sarada nodded.

She now understood why. Heck, if your clan got exterminated you'd stay home for the anniversary and pray for them. "Now is not the time to wonder about this, smile for your father please..... He may not show any emotion but he really appreciates it, even your smallest grins." Sakura said.

"I will, mom. I'm really happy that he's home as well." Sarada simply said. "I'm really proud of you, Sara. You skipped that party just to go out with your dad and I." Sakura said and parked the car in front of the airport.

"Anything for you guys. Besides, the party's not a big deal, I'm just gonna make it up to Himawari when we can go out." Sarada and they opened both their doors to look for Sasuke.

"Where are you Dad?" Sarada murmured. Her eyes wandering around the airport to look for her dad.   "Sarada, you dad texted to wait for him outside the car. Let's give him 15 minutes to come." Sarada nodded and simply waited for the man she missed a lot.

She hasn't seen Sasuke in over a year or two. She's already 17 and the last the father-daughter saw each other in person was when she was about to turn 15.

She began to scroll through Instagram to kill time. She saw a lot of posts from the party she missed. She sighed, it was kind of worth it to skip the party since a lot of her friends are underage and some of them are drinking.

"Tadaima." she then turned to see who it was. She smiles, "Papa!"
