Deep breaths escape from her lips as she woke up. Darkness surrounded the four walls as she had been put back to reality.
A glowing ball of light showing outside the window with darkness concealing the rest of the sky. It was breathtakingly beautiful. She was covered by a blanket from her chest and down. Her eyes searched for his aquamarine ones for some relief but to her luck, she couldn't find his alluring eyes.
Her breaths grew heavier when she wasn't able to find him. Where was he?
Cupid played with their heart strings and had them be tangled. Once twisted together, he would get a pair of shears and slash the knots until none of the tangled ones remain and he repeats the cycle.
Was this a nightmare where she couldn't find him? His eyes were her only source of relief and she's having a hard time for not seeing them.
Her breath hitched as she heard the door knob rattle. The quiet patter of footsteps coming from the other side alarmed her quickly. Her breathing quickened as the door slowly opened to unravel the visitor from the other side.
She sighed in relief as she saw his crystal-like eyes. Her heart melted at the sight of the young man who seemed to be carrying a tray of food with him. He smiled at her as he sauntered to her side.
"Hey, you feeling alright?" He questioned as he put the tray aside. He grasps her hand in his bigger one's as he stares at her onyx eyes. Her beauty is absolutely ethereal.
The way she grins and the way her eyes crinkle as she smiles is absolutely beguiling."Yeah, I'm fine."
"You were out cold for a while now. It's night already." He said with honesty. It was true after all, the moon was already up in the sky and the darkness was evident. She chuckled a little before giving him his favourite smile.
"I'm fine.... really.""Anyway your wish came true. I'm actually gonna have to stay the night now." She stated and she stared at the clock on the wall. It was already 8 o'clock in the evening, surely her mother would've let her stay wherever she was. It was dangerous to go out at night.
"I got your meds from your bag, you should eat dinner now." He turned to his side and brought the tray to her lap. Again, she gives him a blinding smile before putting her palms together and recites the usual Japanese mealtime prayer.
"Itadakimasu!"She takes the chopsticks by her side and begins to dig in to her meal.
"Is it normal for you to faint when you haven't eaten yet?" Boruto asks and she stares at him with wonder.
"Yeah, I think it's probably normal. I didn't eat too much lunch earlier."She continues to eat till he grabs her chin and connects his forehead with his.
"Next time, eat enough so you don't have to faint again, alright?"
He presses his lips to her forehead and her cheeks are tainted pink because of his actions."I think I can manage myself, bolt."
