3rd person pov
The cousins walked inside the hospital with dreadful steps. They knew the situation and they were a bit sad about it.
Once they entered the elevator, Kawaki had to break the awkward silence. "Have you been taking your meds?" He asked and the girl nooded.
"Eating well?" He questions about her eating habits and yet again, she just nodded.
"If only I didn't starve myself to study 5 years ago...." Sarada murmured and Kawaki pats her shoulder for comfort.
"At only 11, I ruined this body of mine. I studied and studied night and day and look at where it got me..." She continued with her voice cracking in the end.
"If only I listened to mom, I wouldn't have had this..." she then breaks into tears, which concerned Kawaki. She pulls her cousin into a hug which surprises him.
"Kawaki-nii! I'm so sorry for making you worried! I'm sorry I chose to learn than to eat properly!" Sarada cried while Kawaki did his best to stop her crying. "Sarada, it's not your fault. It's alright, you're gonna get through this alive. You're gonna be fine." He said in a comforting manner.
The elevator dinged and he wiped his cousin's tears away. "You're going to be fine, I know you will." He said and Sarada nodded as they walked to the doctor's office. They walked away from the elevator and to the office of Sarada's doctor.
They spot the office door and entered the office. They asked for her appointment and the receptionist let her inside the doctor's office. "Doc, Uchiha-San is here for her check up and meds." the receptionist said and the doctor replied with the usual 'come in'.
Sarada walked in the office and her doctor smiled at her. She sat on the chair in front of his desk and so the check up began. "Have you been eating, Sarada?" she asked.
"Yes, I have." Sarada replied and the doctor took notes. "Good. Have you been taking your meds?" She asked again. "Yes, I have." Sarada replied again.
"How can get rid of this, doc?" Sarada asked. "I know at the age of eleven I ruined my body because I studied too much and I worked too hard to be at the level I'm at right now, but I want to be normal again." Sarada continued and the doctor pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Sarada, my dear. Anorexia is an eating disorder that can have fatal consequences. People suffering from anorexia consume very restrictive quantities of food, which leads to starvation. Eventually they can become dangerously thin and malnourished. In your case, the cause for your Anorexia is because you starved yourself to keep studying. Other than that you lacked sleep all the more reason why it's hard to get rid of Anorexia... " the doctor started and Sarada had already began to lose hope.
"But if we try hard enough, you might go back to your normal body. From the looks of it you're pretty healthy since the last few years, it'd be pretty easy for you, sweetie. Oh by the way here are your meds, I'll add these extras so I'd be able to help you out with this disorder. See you next month, Sarada!" The doctor handed her the meds and she was allowed to leave the office.
Since Kawaki was only to bring her to the hospital she had to go home by herself. The problem was it started to rain. Rain heavily.
