“Young man, take a seat.” Kureto said as he sat on his chair and stared at the blonde. “According to your files, you came from Japan. You're a top student and athlete. Anything else I should know before you start at this school?” he said with a hint of grumpiness. “Sir, that basically sums it up. If anything else, I'm still unsure about what course I should take.” Boruto said with an eye roll. This man clearly didn't have enough patience with his students, Boruto knew that right away.
The teacher was suddenly interested in this young man. Other than his siblings and fellow teachers, nobody had acknowledged him like that. It was intriguing, this young man was intriguing. “I teach engineering, if you would like to know. I take on the technical parts that architects make. They create the draft and we do the math and technicalities.” He explained and this moved Boruto's curiosity.
Engineering was a challenge. It was interesting. Sure, architecture was nice but this, this right here could test him. “The other teachers they teach, Guren takes Law and sometimes political science, Shinya takes Architecture, Krul has Medicine, Crowley has Foreign language, Ferid has Economics, Lucal teaches Finance, Narumi has communication and mass media. There's this new teacher, Kuroo Tetsurou, he's Japanese too, he teaches Chemistry. There are actually more female teachers but I'd let Krul take the lead with that since they all relate with 'science' and the like. ” Kureto said and Boruto laughed at him.
They said he was a terror but here he was laughing at his sarcasm. “I have other siblings that are also teachers here. They're the noisy bunch if you ask me. You have any little sisters or brothers?” Kureto asked. He was warming up to this boy. It wasn't terrible but he was definitely interested.
“Yes sir, I have a little sister back in Japan. She's quite the nuisance too.” the two cringed together at the thoughts of their siblings.
“Back on the topic of courses. There are a lot more varieties in Tepes' academy. Have you decided now that I've discussed some with you?” Kureto was praying in his mind that this boy takes Engineering as his main course and becomes a student of his. He would like to learn more about this intelligent and sarcastic boy and he'd be able to do more if he were a pupil of his.
The young man smirked at his, already deciding on what to take. “I'd be more than honored to take your course, sir. When do we start?” Kureto smirked back as he chuckled. “We start tomorrow in the morning. Kimizuki could help you out. Don't be late young man.” He then handed an Engineering course schedule to him. He then reached for a handshake.
He gave his hand for a handshake. Boruto shook his firmly before smirking. This was a new beginning for him. A new beginning with a badass engineering teacher. With all the formalities done, the two knew they had to leave the room after the short interview. The teacher opened the door for him and they both exited the office only to see his brother, the architecture professor, Shinya, Guren and Mikaela Hyakuya.
“What are you lot looking at? This isn't cinematography.” Kureto said with a glare as he acknowledged them all. “Ne, Kureto, you took a bit long with this lad. I got worried you grilled him.” Shinya said in exasperation. Guren laughed at the silver haired. He then took notice of the smirks of the two men from the office. “He's a new prodigy, isn't he? You're smirking and I can see that.” Guren said and groaned. “You have another one?! You're so unfair, you already have Kimizuki!” Shinya said as he crossed his arms. “You're taking Engineering now? Earlier, you said you were interested in Law and Architecture. Sir Kureto must done a good job introducing engineering.” Mika said with a small smile.
“He could've been my prodigy if you haven't stepped in! Imagine, having him and Mika as my prodigies.” Shinya said as he imagined what could have been. Guren rolled his eyes at him before conversing with the other two. “You'll do great things, Boruto. I hope you enjoy Tepes' academy.”
There he knew that he was finally home.
