Y'all know what's going to happen in this chapter and I'm quite excited as well😁
3rd person pov
"Oh.... It's raining." she said and opened her bag for her phone. When she had found it, she searched for her mom's number and was about to call her till she realised something.....
"What? How come there's no network? Surely the rain isn't blocking the signal..." Sarada said. She was considering to borrow an umbrella form the hospital and walk home till a car park in front of her.
The window opened and she saw a familiar face, "Boruto-San!" Sarada said as soon as she saw the blonde's face. "Get in. It's raining pretty badly, so I got worried about you." Boruto said unlocking the door to the front seat.
"Thank you!" She said and got inside the car and Boruto drove off. A silent atmosphere surrounded the two as they drive and unfortunately for Boruto, it made him feel very uncomfortable. It seems like they were in a graveyard. A very quiet atmosphere.
"What's your address?" He bluntly asked, startling the girl beside him. "I'm sorry but, what?" she asked a bit confused but mostly startled. "I'm driving you home for that I need your address, unless you want to stay with me." He said with a hidden smirk making the girl hurry and answer his question.
It was a only a few blocks from where they were now, it's alright for him after all he did like her. "How long were you in there? And how did you not notice? The skies were gray earlier, indicating that it would rain." Boruto raised an eyebrow at the onyx eyed girl, who in return smiled sheepishly.
"Well, I had a lot to ask my doctor and many other things...." she explained and Boruto acknowledged her with a curt nod. His tongue was tied, he can't talk that much when it comes to Sarada. "I wanted to know..." he started. "Yes?" she asked with a bright smile.
"I wanted to know.... Why you were in the hospital? What's that check up for?" He continued and now Sarada's the one who's tongue tied. She didn't know what to say. It was whether she decides to tell the truth or she would lie. But.... Boruto seemed trust worthy.... If she could convince him not to tell Himawari or her other friends about her disorder.
"You promise not to tell anybody else?" she asked. "I promise." He said but she wasn't satisfied. She raised her pinky then asked, "Really?" she asked. "Aren't we too old for this?" Boruto chuckled. He was a classy man, he changed from being childish. Instead of hooking his pinky finger with hers, he grabbed her whole hand instead. "I promise you, I won't ever tell anybody of your condition." he said and then pulled her into an embrace with one arm.
Traffic just became convient in Boruto's opinion.
Sarada turned red. She never really experienced being embraced by a man who isn't family. But to be honest, it felt great. Slowly she hugged back, only to release their hug a few seconds later. "It's hard to explain but, I have this disorder. An eating disorder, Anorexia. 5 years ago when I was 11, I studied a lot but I wasn't eating properly. I got thin, malnourished and I grew very pale. One day I fainted and the doctors found out I had anorexia. I, at the age of 11, ruined my body." she started and Boruto was afraid. Afraid for her. She didn't deserve this.
"But I got back on my feet, I took meds, I started to eat properly but Anorexia remained. The damage was done and I can't have the body I had back then. Till today that is, I talked with my doctor, she added more meds and I promise that I'll be eating regularly." she continued and for once he was filled with relief. Although he was happy, he didn't have control to what he would say next.
"Tell me the next time you go to the hospital, I'm coming with you. That's not a question, I am going with you." Boruto demanded and Sarada laughed. "Alright, fine." she smiled.
A few turns here and there, with conversations along the way, they reached the Uchiha residence. It was still raining hard. "Sarada, grab that umbrella over there." Sarada turned around and reached for the black umbrella and handed it to Boruto. "Don't come out just yet, I'll open your door for you." He opened his door door and opened his umbrella. He walked to her side and opened the door for her.
Carefully, he brought her to her front door. "Thank you so much, Boruto-San!!" she bowed curtly. "Bolt." He simply said but Sarada couldn't catch on. "Pardon me?" she asked to avoid confusion. "Just call me Bolt." he smiled.
"Oh.... Okay then! Thanks Bolt." she said with pink cheeks. She opened her door, about to enter her home till he pulled her arm back. He pulled her to face him and pecked her forehead and then turned his back. "Good night, Sarada." He simply said and left her with flushed cheeks.
Sarada couldn't stop the redness overcoming her features even when she walked inside her house. It was a good thing her mom wasn't home this week or else she'd tease her about her red face.
But she couldn't deny, she was starting to develop feelings for her best friend's brother.
She has never felt anything like this before......
