Jade's POV
The day before the final!
One more day to go and then that's it, my high school basketball career is over. I'm kinda sad this is the place I was in almost 24/7. It's like a second home in a way, a home where i can just forget everything and do what I do best. I used to come here after school just to train, some people thought that was kind of weird. But i liked it, just me and nobody else. It was so peaceful and quiet. My dad has been working in this school since i was like 14, so when Megan and her friends used to bully me this is where i came to get away from it all.
Me and the team have been training over time, everyday without fail. Were doing good if i do say so myself. Sure we've had some hiccups along the way but what team doesn't. Were all ready for this, were ready for whatever Megan and her team throws at us.Let the battle commence,or more like continue. This is the last time me and Megan fight, either she gets into university or i do. Let the best woman win. Bring it on.
I walk into school to see all these banners and posters on the walls. It had our team mascot on every poster. I knew the school believed in us but i didn't think they believed in us that much. This is crazy, most people would get more nervous but to be honest i'm just happy the whole school is behind us in this game. I couldn't help but smile at all these posters, i walk to my locker and put some of my books in and obviously take some out for my next class. I was about to close my locker when i see a paper airplane fly into my locker, i lift it and open it up to see the words: Good Luck ;D.
I smile at the message and turn around to see who threw the paper airplane, i turn around to see my stunning girlfriend smiling at me.I smile back at her, i was about to walk over to her when she ran towards me and tackled me into a hug.She give me the tightest squeeze ever, but i was Perrie so i couldn't complain.I giggle at her gesture and hug her back before giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"What's all this for?",i ask her once we pull away. She smiles at me again.
"Because i wanted to,duh. And because tomorrow is a very special day for you and the team. So i wanted to cheer you up in case you were feeling nervous".she answered still smiling at me.I brought her into another hug and now it was my turn to squeeze her, and just like i did she giggled.
"Your too cute, seriously",i say before kissing her forehead, she blushed at my action. I couldn't help but giggle at her.
"What are you giggling about?",she asked looking at me confused.
"Your blushing", i say making her blush again.
"Stoppppp, your annoying now come on we need to get to class before were late", she said before dragging me by the hand to our next classroom. We had maths but it was so so boring, at one point Perrie had to shake me because i nearly fell asleep. But luckily the class was going by quick so we were out of there as soon as possible. We started walking to our next class but had to stop off at Perrie's locker so she could get her books. After she got them we meet up with Jesy and Leigh.
"What's up",i said making them laugh.
"Nothing much just the biggest game of our lives tomorrow. And the last time we ever play in high school",Jesy said starting to freak out.
"Wow Jesy chill okay, were going to be fine alright. This is what we've been training for, and were going to go out with a bang",i say making her smile.
"I've tried to tell her that but she won't listen",Leigh said.
"I'm sorry guys i'm just really nervous",Jesy said smiling at all of us.
"So am i but, i know that were going to do great,we've trained to long and hard to let it go now",i said before smiling at her.She seemed to calm down then,as we walked into our next class which was science, luckily it was a new teacher today,so it was a lot better than Mr. Campbell's class. I swear to you right now if i have to sit through another class of him going over the same thing over and over, i'm seriously going to cry.
