Perrie's POV
We won, we fucking won. Well the team did but hey my girlfriend's in the team. Does that count? Well whatever i'm so proud of Jade and the team, they played amazingly as always. And Maddie i mean who expected that to come from a girl that's hasn't even played here once or trained for that matter. My parents were going mad at the game, shouting and screaming throughout the whole game. I think it's safe to say i'm truly deaf. They went absolutely ballistic when Megan hurt Jade's leg, i thought my mom was going to go down and punch Megan at one point.
Speaking of that bitch, who the hell does that to someone. She is seriously messed up, there's more than one screw loose in her head. It looked so painful, and it killed me to see Jade in agony. When i ran off the stands all i wanted to do was punch Megan to the ground but i knew Jade needed me way much right then to waste my time on Megan.
But i guess karma kicked them right in the ass because they lost even when they tried to cheat and break Jade's leg. Pathetic is not the word i would describe them as. The smile on Jade's face when that final whistle blew was priceless, she looked so proud and relieved. All her and the team's hard work had finally paid off.
After the game Jade's got her leg checked by some nurse, it wasn't broken fortunately so it won't take as long to heal. She's now walking about with crutches, she begged me to stay with her last night but i knew she needed to rest herself and especially her leg. So all night i got texts from Jade. I pretended to be mad at her for texting me just so i could get some sleep, but i actually thought her texts were adorable.
Next day
Jade's POV
I woke up surprised that Perrie was cuddled up to me beside me but then i remembered that she didn't stay here last night, because of my stupid leg. Speaking of my leg it still feels so painful. I swear was there really a need to do that, and that ref must have been blind or either he was paid by Megan to not say anything. But anyway i should be thinking positively, the team won either way. And did we go out with a bang or what.
I get up and look at my phone to see that it's only 8:30am, i get up knowing that i'm not going to get back to sleep now. I get up and grab my crutches, i somehow manage to get down the stairs without falling, i make my way into the kitchen to see my mom making some breakfast. I smelt so so good.
"Oh hey Jadey, how's the leg?", she asked placing a plate full of food in front of me on the table. I'm so hungry.
"Not so good it's still very sore", i say putting my crutches beside me at the table. I start to eat my breakfast as my dad walks in and hugs my mom taking her by surprise, he comes over to me then and puts me in a headlock before ruffling my hair, he hasn't acted like this since i like 9. What's up with him today?
"What was that for?", i ask him after he lets go of my head.
"What was what for?", he asked with a big smile on his face before going to read the paper. Me and my mom looked at each other and by her face i could tell she was thinking the same thing as me 'What the hell has gotten into him'.
"All the hugging and messing around. Your always tired and moody in the mornings",i say trying to understand what just happened.
"I'm just happy that's all. You know no more worrying or planning because the season doesn't start for another few months. And that means i get to relax and be with my family", he said with that same big goofy smile on his face. I look at my mom to see her now smiling, i then smile. I'm happy for both of them, i mean they finally get a break away from teenagers and no work.
