Chapter 11

Shikamaru's P.O.V.

I was on a mission with my team when I felt it, I felt the familiar chakra in the necklace.

I thought I was imagining it but it was impossible, the necklace didn't feel cold anymore

"Shikamaru come on!" ino shouts ahead

I ignore her and wait, wait to feel something else but I don't

sighing I catch up with my team.

"yea yea im coming, what a drag" I say

after an hour we take a rest to eat lunch at a small restaurant

about to take a bite I freeze, feeling the necklace again.

dropping my chop sticks I stand up

"Sensei I need to go!" I tell him
"no nee to tell us, just go to the bathroom" he says with a disgusted look

"No I mean I have to get back to the village!" I tell him

"whats going on Shikamaru?" ino asks

sensei nods agreeing to let me go

I race out hearing ino shout "Wha- why are you letting him go!?!?"

A/N

I am unsure where orochimaru's hide out was located, so umm lets say by the Hidden grass village, some what near the tenchi bridge. and shika was on a mission in the hidden stone village but he was yet to enter, he was by Kanabi bridge. please look at map up top.

Rinmaru's P.O.V.

Naruto stayed close to me, but refused to look at me or touch me now.

sakura had told me why, and I was mad at Tenzo now.

while we were on a break I out more chakra into my ring, making sure shika knew for sure I was alive and where I was.

"hey sakura go take a break I can look after her" Kakashi tells his student

"hai sensei" she agrees leaving to go and eat

"Naruto go join her" Kakashi tells Naruto who was standing near us

he nods and gives one last look before leaving towards sakura and sai

"Im glad you're ok" he tells me as he sits down with me

"hn" is all I say as I try to move to sit better

I hiss in pain

"careful, sakura told you that you have to be careful. Your stitches were poorly done by Kabuto" he tells me

I nod hating myself as I feel pain in my neck

I see Kakashi staring at my neck, I hadn't seen how bad I most likely looked

"was that the Nine tail?" he asks

I bring my hand to my neck and feel the scar from when I was bit.

"yes.." I answer honestly

I feel my necklace heat up, shikamaru was close, very close

forcing myself I stood up

"Rin stop you're going to hurt yourself

"SHIKAMARU!!!" I called out

Kakashi was holding my back and arm to steady me

we both hear twigs snapping before someone appears

"Onee-chan" shikamaru says staring at me with wide eyes

"hey Shika" I say smiling brightly at him

he races at me tackling me to the ground

I grunt and wrap my arms around his head

"be careful!" Kakashi tries to tell him but it doesn't work

Sakura, Sai and Naruto appear watching as Shikamaru hugs me

this lasts for about 5 minutes, he lets go and helps me stand

"I thought you were gone" he says

"I thought I was too" I tell him

we talk some more before he calms down completely.

"Naruto and the team saved me" I tell him

"Can you come back to the village?" shikamaru asks

I sigh and shake my head no

"I have to get back to the Akatsuki" I tell him

"how!?!? just look at you" he tells me

"you sound a lot like mom right now" I tell him chuckling

I get back on kakashis back and we all travel till the tenchi bridge

Naruto looks so uneasy as we approach it

sighing I tell them to stop

"you guys should get back to the village, and shika back to your team" I tell them trying to seem fine

"hai one-chan... we can meet again when you feel better" he tells me

I nod and hug him one last time

"I'll see you soon" I tell him

he pulls away and begins his journey to his team

"here are your belongings" Sai says with a fake smile on his face

"thank you, come here" I tell him

I give him a hug, whispering into his ear

"hai I will do my best Rinmaru-san" sai nods

Kakashi hugs me next and whispers into my ear

"I have a letter... let me know whenever" he tells me

"till next time" I tell him nodding my head

sakura comes next "be sure to get treated as soon as possible, I couldn't tell if there was an infection or anything" she tells me as starts rewrapping some wounds

"thank you, look after them yea?" I tell her

"I will, look after yourself" she tells me

I nod and place my cloak on along with my Akatsuki ring, and my pouch

Naruto stays back, not looking at me

"come here" I tell him

he walks towards me, avoiding eye contact

I walk towards him and pull him to a hug

he tries to resist but I force him to stay in my arms

"it was not your fault Naruto... I don't blame you, because It was not you" I tell him

he begins crying

"im sorry one-chan... im sorry" he hugs me back sobbing

"I love you Naruto, and I know you would never hurt me, we both know that" I tell him

"when can I see you again?" he asks

"talk to shika, he'll let you know" I tell him

he nods and we hug one more time before they leave.

I make my way to the hidden rain so I could get to the hideout.

it takes me a lot longer due to my injuries

im having a very lazy time, haven't been feeling like writing

mostly cuz I aint traveling anymore I don't have to do anything
