it had been 2 days, I was still living in a hotel but I was fine with it. people begin to recognize me and say hello whenever they saw me.
all reports and requests now came to me and I would give Gaara what I thought was good for the sand village, I noticed things in the sand was quite and calm but I could people were having financial troubles.
"I think everything's been getting better, you've knocked down costs on imported goods which is a big help. The supplier's are cheaper and get here quicker... I am so happy to have you here" Gaara tells me
Naruto had let me know that shikamaru was on mission against Hidan and Kakazu, I was worried but I felt that he was ready. if he needed me I would be there in a second
sighing I put myself to work, Gaara had fallen behind on his duties since he was unsure on what to do.
"have you found a place yet?" Gaara asks as we take a break for lunch
"oh not yet, and I haven't earned enough and I'll be fine in the hotel till I do" I tell him
"Onee-chan I told you, you're welcome to stay with me, its free, with food and whatever you need" he tells me
"I know gaara but I cant take advantage of you... and I don't think your sister would be on board with me moving in with you" I excuse myself
"alright but remember the offer will always be there" he tells me
I nod "thank you, now we should get back to work, we have a meeting in an hour with one of the representatives of the land of waves" I tell him
we get back to the office and I review the document, or rather the agreement they want to have with us to avoid possible wars and other things that could happen, they want to make allies with us
an hour passes and someone knocks on the door
"enter" Gaara says, I could tell he was nervous
"Lord Kazekage I've brought the person from the Land of waves" one of the guards says before bowing and leaving
"Hello Kazekage I am Hiroto from the land of waves, I was sent to talk about the agreement with you" The older man speaks
"yes, please follow my Assistant Kireana to the meeting room, I will be there soon" Gaara tells him
I stand up and give a small bow before leading the way to the room
"would you like a refreshment?" I ask
"oh yes please, water is fine" he tells me
I nod and leave going to the small break room we have here
getting a cup of water and heading back, when I enter I see Gaara and Hiroto already talking
"Here you are Hiroto-san" I place the water down for him and take my seat beside Gaara pulling out a notebook to write things we may need to review later on
"so tell me please what does the land of waves have to offer us? and im sure this isn't an order from whoever is in charge of the land of waves now" I speak first
"ah... well we've had a change of charge in the land of waves... instead of having a main person in charge of everything we have a government system now. so we have the lords in charge.." Hiroto explains
A/N
so I have no idea what im talking about here, im not to sure of what the law and orders things are in the Naruto world but uh yea hopefully you guys understand what im talking about
Gaara and Hiroto talk about the order there for bit, me writing down the main details
"so Hiroto-san my I ask what the land of waves can offer, you didn't answer the first time" I ask again
"oh well we cant offer much, but we can let you travel with imported goods safely and help with building and other small things... all we ask is that you give us protection when we really need it" Hiroto could tell I knew what I was doing
I look at gaara and see he is thinking about it
we talk for another hour "so Kireana what do you think?:" gaara asks me
looking at hiroto I could tell he was nervous
"I think we accept, if we can trade through the land of waves it will cut our budgets, and the land of waves is fairly peaceful so I don't think we'd have to send many shinobi to help out" I tell gaara
he nods and agrees with me "thank you so much Lord Kazekage, Lady Kireana" hiroto says with a huge smile
"have those in charge contact us so we can sign the treaty" I tell hiroto
he bows and leaves, most likely happy to get home, I was sure he wasn't use to such hot weather
time skip 5 days
still rins P.O.V.
I had received letters from Kakashi, Naruto and shika, of course a few others but all from Kakashi seeing as he was the only one that knew where I truly was
I replied to each person making sure I didn't answer anything to let them know where I was. I couldn't be to sure that these letters would make it to my friends and family safely.
as I read all about Naruto from Kakashi I smiled, proud with how strong he had become. and proud of shika, he had told how he had defeated Hidan all by himself.
it was their mission after all
