Will and Nico's child

Chapter 5 - camp

The next day we got in the car and drove to long island. I didn't understand why we had to drive the car when we could have shadow traveled. I read my book and slept most of the way. 

At one point I got hungry and suggested going to the nearby burger king. I looked at Nico and did not understand why he looked so angry. "Calm down Nico, Holly please don't talk about burger king he hates that place, the only fast food place he'll eat is Mcdonald's." I stifled a laugh. This was my family. 

After we got Mcdonald's we kept driving until we came to a place called Oracle Strawberries. I looked around confused, where was the camp? "Where's the camp?" I asked my dad's. "There is no camp we left you here to die!" Nico said dramatically 

"As if, if you were going to kill me you would have let Mrs.Harriss kill me when she had the chance." I said "Fine, you caught me." He turned towards a large pine tree and said "Nico Di angelo son of Hades." Will also turned towards the tree and said "Will Solace Son of Apollo." Nothing happened.

 "Welp I guess we could call Annabeth." Will suggested "Fine." Nico said in such a way that sounded as though he had some tough feeling towards this Annabeth person. Will took out his phone and dialed some numbers . He talked into the phone awhile. 

All of a sudden the air shimmered and a blond lady appeared. She glared at me with grey serious eyes and angrily said "Who are you, and why are you with these idiots?" I stepped back and said "Hey, you must be Annabeth. I'm Holly, these are my dads and I'm here to talk to Chiron." The girl looked at me in a understanding way and said "Welcome to Camp Half Blood, Holly."

 The air shimmered and the Oracle Strawberries disappeared and replacing it was a odd looking summer camp. There was a large amphitheater with a large campfire. There was a large three story blue house. There was a large stretch of woods and a little ways away a beach. There were some cabins, there was one painted red with a boar head on the door, one with a grass roof, and another one that glowed. These were surrounded by tiny houses. And as if that wasn't weird enough a climbing wall that bubbled with real steaming lava. There was also a huge strawberry field. I looked around in awe as Annabeth gave us a tour of the camp. 

After awhile I had to use the bathroom so I said "Excuse me, I'm going to relieve myself." I hardly waited for their answer before jogging off to the bathroom. I wasn't paying much attention when I bumped into a boy with sea green eyes and rumpled black hair. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry I should have been paying more attention." "Oh it's fine, by the way I'm Charlie, Charlie Chase Jackson. What's your name?"

 I had not really thought about what my last name was now. "I'm Holly, I was adopted so I actually don't know my last name, but it's nice to meet you Charlie." "Oh there's my mom I should go, see you at the campfire." I turned around and saw him jog off towards Annabeth, Annabeth was his mother. 

"Come on Holly we should move you into your tiny house." My dad Will said "Wait what? I get a tiny house!" I exclaimed happily. "Yes but you will have to share it with two other kids, what's his name Annabeth?" Annabeth turned towards Charlie and said "Come on, introduce yourself." I turned towards Annabeth and said "Oh it's ok, I ran into him when I was going to the bathroom so we already met."

 Annabeth furrowed her eyebrows and at first I thought she was worried that the introduction hadn't gone well but then she said "Umm Charlie where's your sister?" "She was with me but then she wanted to go to the lake and I wanted to go to woods, so we split up." "Ok so she's probably with your dad." She said relieved.

 "I'm going to get my stuff out of the car." "Ok." My dads said "I'll go with you Holly." Charlie said even though I had not offered or told him to go with me, but he seemed nice so I let him help me with my stuff. My trunk was surprisingly heavy even though I did not have that much stuff in it. As I walked back towards my parents Charlie said "I can tell we're going to be good friends.
