All of the love
That I had for you
Has left me near dead
And my heart black and blue
Feeling so numb
I'm trying to breathe
All of those lies
They're suffocating
I can't seem to realize
Where we went wrong
Was I blinded by love
Or trying to stay strong
Persistent I love you's
Day after day
You still threatened to leave me
And I begged you to stay
We tried to mend
a bond that was broken
Nothing could fix us
Our sad fate had spoken
We no longer speak
It's been over a year
And here I was still
Shedding tear after tear
It's about time I move on
I'm independent my dear
