In a flash she was there. Like a veil being lifted from her eyes. Bright light encased her being as she looked down at her arms to reveal skin as young as her youth. It had been decades since she seen her peachy skin glow without blemish or wrinkles, now her skin shone with a radiance she never saw on Earth. Twinkling of the stars or the rarest precious stone couldn't compare to its splendor.

With childlike innocence she peered around her in a 360 degree fashion without ever moving her body. She felt alive, more alive than ever.

Taking it all in gave her tingles that ran down her transformed body from the top of her now sandy brown hair on her head, to the tips of her toes. With the intensity and a sensation her body had never felt before. She felt the energy completely become one with her and she was one with it. It was....

The presence of God.

Her feet touched the blades of the grass, much like when she was a child playing in her yard. This time it felt like silk on her feet. Greener than the greenest grass she ever saw, but this
had a translucent like quality to it. Words couldn't describe the intensity of the color. Silky, emerald green, crystal clear and reflective like a mirror.

She felt gentle warm breezes of air that felt like cotton brushing her rosy cheeks as she looked down at her reflection in the grass.

Noticing her senses were heightened, she heard in the distance whooshing and flapping sounds in sync with the breeze she felt on her cheeks. She realized as she looked up that there was no one else around yet she didn't feel alone. She sensed a comfort and a peace was so near, all around her, even though she couldn't see anyone.

Again glancing down towards her feet she experienced something nearly as wonderful as she had felt the moment the veil lifted. Looking down at her reflection, her life played back to her as if she were watching a movie. It showed every loving and kind moment she ever shared with someone. Moments of compassion and joy, it was being transmitted right back to her. Times when she thought no one cared, it all was worth it. It wasn't in vain. She received back everything she ever gave out of love tenfold. Tingles were happening again.

There was then a gentle nudge that summoned her down the grassy hill toward a glistening river. She would have been at peace just standing on that hill forever. She didn't want for anything more. These first few moments was more magical than anything she had ever felt.

White oak trees lined both sides of a wide river that seemed to flow never ending. Glistening with what she could only describe as a first snowfall, when it lands just right on the trees and the sun's rays make the snow sparkle.Yet it wasn't snow.

Walking down the gently rolling hill with a new found ease, she weaved between the trees taking in their beauty as she walked closer towards the river. The sounds that came off the river were like music to her ears and sent more tranquility through her body.

As she gazed into the river she noticed how clear the water was. A shade of aqua blue that not only reflected how alive she felt, but the water itself seemed to dance with the ease she now felt when she moved her body. She had found rest in this place, more rest than she had since she was a child in her mother's arms. Feeling completely weightless but more grounded than ever, she laid down in her pearl white gown beside the river.

Soaking in every ounce of pleasure she dipped her hands into the water, feeling the vibrations of the music the river played. It ran through her hands and traveled through to her soul, making her feel her soul as much as she could feel her heartbeat when excited.

As she laid there hand in river, in a dream like state, years of confusion had left. The confusion she had felt that couldn't be shaken, like when coming awake from a deep sleep and not realizing where you are or who you are. That had vanished the moment her soul awakened here.

Clarity filled her mind.

A calming tender warmth enveloped her body as she lay there beside the river with pansies, violets and poppies all around her. She could have laid there only minutes or it could have been hundreds of years. Time wasn't relevant here. She had eternity.

Hearing the flapping sounds of angelic wings filling the air was all the comfort her body would ever need. She felt as if she had drifted away to sleep. This wasn't a dream.....

It was heaven.
