Look at me now
Look at me now
Still trying to hold on
To something that died long ago
And was buried in the fog
That covered over my eyes
Until I could no longer see
You trying to spare my feelings
I just wouldn’t let things be
Look at us now
Steadily drifting apart
On waves of sarcasm and hatred
That slowly drown our hearts
And time just won't stand still
Keep things the way they use to be
So I stand on the edge of loneliness
And feel its bitter breeze
Look at me now
Just look at what I’ve become
So hurt, confused and bitter
See only darkness, have no where to run
I cant let go of the memories
Though I know that I should forget
People say the pain will go away
But I can't see that yet
Look at us now
We are whole worlds apart
A wall has grown between us
And covered over our hearts
I know I’m to blame
For the way I am now
But its so hard to lose a love
But I’ll be better someday, somehow
