In Front of Me
I have this picture here in front of me
The only thing of you I own
And even though you are here with me
I look around and I am alone
I hear your voice, in ways it comforts me
In other ways it brings me down
I wipe away a tear that lingers still
Because I’m alone when I look around
And though my heart cries out for you
And tears show my pain
Words are all I can send to you
Until I see you once again
I hope someday to see your face
Touch it gently with my hand
Wipe the tears falling from your eyes
Love you like no other man
And though my heart cries out for you
And tears show my pain
Words are all I can send to you
Until I see you once again
But for now in silence I sit alone
Your picture in front of me
Holding on as hard as I can
Until the next time you are here with me
And though my heart cries out for you
And tears show my pain
Words are all I can send to you
Until I see you once again
See you once again
