Never be Your Man
Like a kid in a toy store window
I stand here and dream
Like a dream that never comes true
It’s bigger than it seems
Like the stars in the night sky
Shining bright beyond my touch
I reach out to you my love
But it all seems too much
So I stand in the shadows
In silence and in fear
Knowing that forever
You will always be there
Outside of the garden
Of your love and care
I see the flowers blooming
I smell the fragrant air
But I know now and forever
A smile is al there will be
For a love so special
Is never meant for me
And like a wish from a fountain
I know will never come true
Or a full moon on the horizon
I wish for me and you
But wishes are for dreamers
And in the real world I stand
And accept the fact forever
I will never be your man
