"Julie, time to go to bed." Betty told her 6 year old daughter, while washing dishes.
"But I'm not tired!" Juliet whined, watching TV not making eye contact with Betty, Betty looked at Jughead who was on the couch next to Juliet, he leaned his head back so he could see Betty, she gave him the 'please do something' look, Jughead rolled his eyes but nodded.
"But you will be if I told that if you didn't go to bed then you can't go to Tess's house tomorrow." Jughead told her smirking, he looked at Betty and she mouthed 'thank you' smiling.
Juliet's eyes widened, "Oh would you look at the time. Well I better go to bed, big day tomorrow." She fake yawned trying to act tired. "Goodnight mom, goodnight dad."
"Night princess!" Jughead chuckled.
"Night honey. Remember to brush your teeth!" Betty said.
"I will." Juliet says back.
Juliet ran upstairs wanting to see her best friend tomorrow. Betty and Jughead laughed at their daughters desperateness. "God I love being a parent." Jughead laughs.
"Well YOU didn't have to carry her for 9 months, push her out of your body and breast feed her when she's hungry and that shit hurts." Betty says jokingly.
"True." Jughead says smiling. Betty had finished doing the dishes and sat down on the couch next to Jughead, Jughead pats his lap and Betty sits on his lap. Jughead wraps his arms around her waist. " I love you." Jughead mumbles.
"So I've been told." Betty giggles. "I love you too."
Betty cups Jughead's face and leans down to kiss him.
"Okay well I gotta go check on Julie but you go to bed." Betty said getting up and walking up stairs.
"Don't take too long, the bed gets cold without you." Jughead says also getting up.
"I won't." she laughs.
Betty enters Juliet's room to see her already in her bed, snuggled up under her blanket, she walks up and sits beside her.
"Have you brushed your teeth?" Betty asks.
"Yes." Juliet replied giving Betty a toothy grin.
"Okay then, goodnight sweetie." she gives Juliet a kiss on the forehead and walking out of the room but was stopped by Juliet.
"Mommy?"
"Yes Julie?"
"Can you tell me a story?"
She comes back and sits on her bed again.
"Okay, I'll tell you the story of how these two people fell in love..."
So sorry that I haven't been writing a lot, I just didn't have the motivation plus school and everything and it's just crazy.
So this is going to be a two part story cause why not and I am legit not joking if you have any idea, anything at all please comment it or DM me and I'll do it and give you credit, I don't care if this sounds desperate but yeah.
