Betty's POV
The day that I'd never thought would come...moving away from the place I was born and raised in, my home, Riverdale. Riverdale was the place where I met so many amazing people like, Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, Kevin Keller, Toni Topaz and many more but most importantly the place where I met my amazing, loving, brilliant and incredibly sexy boyfriend Forsythe Pendleton Jones III or Jughead, as he likes to be called. I met Jug when we were 5. He had just moved in next door and me and my mom went over to introduce ourselves and welcome them to the neighbourhood, when the door opened, I saw an man maybe in his early 30's and behind him I saw him, his raven hair, his beautiful emerald green eyes, his shy smile and his gray, crown-shaped beanie, we stared at each other. Yes we were only 5 but jeez even at 5 we had a connection, that stare wasn't just any stare it something different.
Ever since then we would always play with each other and then we grew closer and closer until freshman year where he asked me out in the Blue and Gold, we went to Pops and had a great time, when the date finished he took me home and he walked me to the door and he asked me something that I thought I would never be asked especially by Jughead, he asked me to be his girlfriend and I of course said yes and we kissed. It was soft yet passionate, calm but desperate. It was perfect.
We've been dating for two years and it has been amazing we love each other and we were so happy just being together...key word there...were! Of course something had to go wrong. My mom got offered a job in freaking Greendale so I have to leave all my friends and Jughead and I don't want to, but something that's funny is that every summer we would go the Greendale and stay for a few days then come back, but now we are living there so.
It's been 5 months since I've moved and I am still in touch with all my friends and me and Jug text and call everyday just talking about how our days went and he's keeping me updated with what's going on and so far Veronica and Archie are a thing have been for two months, Cheryl and Toni are also dating but I already knew that they both liked each other, Kevin likes Fangs, Hiram Lodge is FINALLY in prison and FP is the sheriff. Some people would say that, that's a lot of things that could happen in 5 months but to me a lot of things happen in Riverdale in a short period of time.
Things in Greendale aren't going so well, I go to this new school called Baxter High and there is a lot of bullying and some people here are very sketchy like there's this one girl called Sabrina and she seems shady and ever since my dad and Polly died my mom hasn't been paying any attention to me so that sucks. Sometimes I wish that I could just runaway and go back to Riverdale my mom won't even notice that I'm gone and I get to see Juggie and all my friends everyday and I'll live with either Jug or Veronica, most likely Jug.
My phone goes off.
J- Hey babe❤
B- Hey, whats up?
J- Nothing I just wanted to talk to you
B- Awwwww how sweet of you
J- So how was school?
B- Ugh school! You know what?
J- What?
B- One of the jocks started flirting with me...which was weird
J- Tell me who and I'll go all the way to Greendale and kick their ass!!!
B- Don't worry, I told him I had a boyfriend and he shouldn't even try, besides he was probably just trying to get in my pants.
