Third Person's POV
"Betty I can't do this anymore!" Jughead told his girlfriend.
"What do you mean?" Betty said trying mot to cry, she took a step closer and cupped his face.
"This, us. I just can't do it anymore, we are so different we would never work." Jughead said as he took her hands off his face and took a step back. Betty stood there not knowing what to say just shocked, she thought they were going good, what happened? What changed? Was it her?
"B-but I thought we were going good, what changed." She said as her eyes start to form tears.
"I'm sorry." Jughead ignored her question and walked away leaving her in the middle of the parking lot and the White Wyrm.
Betty ran home, hurts through the door not caring what her mom said and ran straight into her room.
It's me right? Of course its me. I'm not good enough or pretty enough. It's all my fault!
Little did she know the real reason he did what he did...
Jughead's POV
*one week earlier*
"What do you want Penny?" I say sitting in a booth at Pops with Penny Peabody.
"Well I was hoping you could do a favour for me..." she says with a smirk.
"No, no way in hell am I doing any favours for you, last time that happened someone almost died!" I say
"Please speak louder, I don't think everyone here heard you." Penny says sarcastically.
"Look," I lean in closer, "whatever you want me to do, I'm not doing it. Goodbye Penny." I get out of the booth and start to leave.
"Betty Cooper is it? Your girlfriend? I'd hate if something were to happen to her pretty face, wouldn't you?" Penny said. I turn around and see Penny smirking, I slid back into the booth.
"What did you just say?"
"How long have you guys been dating for...two years, wow it'd be pretty sad if something were to happen to her and her precious Juggie wasn't there to save her." Penny says.
"Penny, I swear to god, if you touch her I-"
"You'll what, Jonsey? Beat me, I don't think you can take all of my ghoulies. So if you don't do my little favour, I'm afraid blondie will have to get it." She says smirking.
"Fine but if you hurt her..." I say trailing off.
"I won't you have my word." Penny says putting her hand out. "Do we have a deal?"
I hesitantly shake her hand, not saying anything.
"Good...now, for that favour...I need you to deliver some crates for me to Greendale."
*Time Skip*
It's been a week and I have been doing 'favours' for Penny, today she told me to meet her at Pop's.
"What do you want?" i asked her annoyed.
"I need you to do a favour for me tonight."
"Actually Penny I can't, I promised Betty that I would spend time with her today."
"Urgh Betty, Betty, Betty. this Betty girl is getting you distracted and I need your full attention." she says as she puts on an evil smirk.
"What are you implying?"
